Hello readers,
This story stems from my first ever attempt at writing and publishing fanfiction. As some of you may be aware, when I was a sophomore in high school, I became very motivated in the summer to become a writer. While I still love writing and creating new worlds and characters, some out of the ashes of other author's works, my path in life will probably never allow me to have enough time to dedicate to creating my own original story in a timely manner as to make it a career. I have an idea for one, however I am currently plagued with characters and storylines existing in worlds not created by my brain.
Anyway, if you've never read The Kingdom Keepers series by Ridley Pearson, I highly suggest you do, especially if you are as much of a Disney geek as I am. It encompasses magic as well as logic, reason, problem-solving, and teen angst. This story is set about 18 years in the future, when the teenagers in the series have grown up to have kids of their own. It is mostly driven by my own OCs, having different yet similar dynamics to the original 7. Relationships for the OG KKs include Famanda (Finn X Amanda), Wilby (Willa X Philby), Charbeck (Charlene X Maybeck), and Jess X OC.
I have kept the original version of this story up, with all of it's grammatical and spelling errors as well as it's plot holes and poor character development, mainly because of nostalgia and the overall positive reviews it has received.
I will be publishing an updated chapter twice a week until it is completed. Please review if you like, or even if you don't. I'm totally open to constructive criticism. Tell me what you think is going to happen and then see if you're right! Some of the plot is going to be changed (as you'll see early on), due to a better, more outlined character development and hindsight which I didn't have when I was writing on the fly the first time. Tell me which of the characters is your fav, which you'd like to see more of, which you want to see get together, and who you'd like to see have a bigger role in a (possible) second book!
