Mila and Y/n are hanging out at their favorite coffee shop while studying since their graduation is coming up. They are in their last year of University. Y/n's father had told Y/n that once she graduates from university, he would make her the new CEO of his company and he will be the new chairman of the company's board of directors. She knows that there are some men on the board that believe she isn't right for the position because she is a woman. But she is determined to prove them wrong. Y/n majors in business management and marketing. She also minors in political science and economics.
Y/n's Pov:
I am almost done finishing this paper and then I can finally submit it. Man, I really need to stop procrastinating. If not then those old men will use that fact against me to prove that I am not fit to be CEO of my own father's business. But who else would take it, it's not like my father has another child or more in fact a son. My father doesn't trust anyone with his company unless it's his blood.
Mila: "Hello?"
Now I am almost done with this paper I just gotta add the period then I am finally done. AND I AM FINALLY DONE! OMG YES! FUCK SCHOOL! THE WAR IS OVER!
Mila: "Y/N!!"
Y/n: "Huh? Yes?"
Mila: "Girl, I have been trying to get your attention for the last couple of minutes."
Y/n: "Oh my bad, I guess I was really focused on finishing my final paper."
Mila: "So you turned it in already?"
Y/n: "Ye-WAIT NOT YET!"
As I switch the tabs and turn in my paper to my professor, THIS JUST HAD TO HAPPEN
Y/n: "NOOO IT DIED! I DIDN'T GET TO TURN IT IN YET!"
Mila: "Now why would you finish it but not turn it in?"
Y/n: "YOU distracted me! Now help me look for an outlet"
Mila: "Fine, but do you have a charger with you?"
Y/n: "Yes, I actually do this time."
Mila: "You do?"
Y/n: "Yes, Mila I do!"
I look around and found an outlet by me under the table, Mila and I were sitting at. I am now waiting for my laptop to get back to work.
Mila: "Girl, you better drink your iced coffee. I think the ice is already all melted."
Y/n: "Ok, ok I got it."
I pick up my drink and drank a bit but she was right. The ice had melted. I don't feel like finishing it now. If only I wasn't so distracted in my work. Damn, maybe Mila was right...I am a workaholic. I noticed that my laptop is charged up to a small percentage but now I can use it to turn in my paper while it's charging.
Y/n: "I finally turned it in!"
Mila: "Oh my god, finally. It took you ages."
Y/n: "Shut up man."
Mila laughs at Y/n.
A couple of minutes passed and now, Mila and I are finally gonna go back to our homes. We both live with our families still as we are studying since we live close to our university. I drop off Mila at her place and I drive home. Driving at night is really peaceful. As I drive home, I put on some music. If anything I love music. It saved me, it comforts me in many ways people can't. Once I reach home, I go park my car then I walk into the penthouse I share with my father. I see that our personal maid, Park EunSook-shi, is still here. She is like a grandmother to me. She has been my family's personal maid since my father and mother got married. She basically raised me since my father was busy with his company. I am pretty sure Eun-Sook is in her mid 50's.
