(F/n) was currently nine months pregnant and feeling it. Everything she did, from getting out of bed to cooking to just walking around required so much effort. Matt often had to help her around the house on weekends. He was still working so someone like Oliver or Al would watch her and keep her company. (F/n) was done with pregnancy. She didn't enjoy the feeling of the baby's kicks anymore, her back and feet were in constant pain, her ankles were swollen, she was always uncomfortable, whether she was laying down or sitting or standing. (F/n) just wanted to get the baby out of her.
"Matt!" (F/n) yelled from the couch in the living room. Matt came into the room.
"Yes?" He asked.
"Second contraction." (F/n) grimaced. Matt sighed and sat by (f/n)'s feet.
"The last one was what? Six hours ago?" (F/n) nodded.
"Can I do anything?" Matt asked.
"Some water, please." (F/n) answered. Matt nodded and went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water for his wife. He came back and gave her the glass.
"Thank you." (F/n) said, taking a sip. Matt sat back down and ran a hand through his blonde hair. "Well, I hope you're ready to be a dad."
"You read my mind." Matt asked. "I'm not sure I'm ready for this."
"Babe, you'll be fine. We both will."
"But I feel like you'll be such an amazing mother and I'll be a terrible dad." Matt explained. (F/n) chuckled.
"This is a learning experience for both of us. We're both going to learn a lot. You and I are at the same level of parenting: Zero." (F/n) said.
"But I think you at least get the idea of parenting."
"Well in the meantime, I think we should call our families." (F/n) said, taking another sip of water.
"Why?" Matt asked.
"You know they all want to be here for the birth and I would rather they get here early so it won't take them hours to get here when the baby actually comes." (F/n) explained.
"Okay, I'll call-
"No, I want to."
"(F/n)-
"It won't kill me if I get up. Plus, I'm gentler than you. I'm less likely to get mad if someone says something." Matt sighed but didn't argue with (f/n). He helped her up and (f/n) walked over to the house phone and decided to call Matt's family first. She dialed their home number. It rang twice and Oliver picked up.
"Hello (f/n)!" lol over greeted cheerfully.
"Hi, Ollie. How'd you know it was me?" She asked.
"Matt only uses his cellphone." Oliver said and (f/n) laughed.
"True. So I've got news."
"The baby's here?!" Oliver shouted with glee.
"No. Not yet. But they'll be here soon. And Matt and I know you all want to be here for the arrival. So do you think you could all drive up here in the next couple days?" (F/n) asked.
"Why, of course. I wouldn't miss my grandchild's birth for the world!" Oliver said. "We'll be there in two days at the latest."
"Okay, Ollie. Thank you. See you soon."
"Bye, poppet."
"Bye, Ollie." (F/n) hung up. Then she dialed her family's home number. Alfred picked up on the last ring.
"Hello?" Alfred said.
"Hey, Alfie." (F/n) greeted.
"Big sis! Hey! How've you been?" Alfred asked excitedly.
"I'm great. Can you pass the phone to Dad?"
"Sure. Hey, British dude! (F/n)'s on the phone!" Alfred called. (F/n) laughed.
"Don't call me that!" Arthur took the phone. "Hello, darling. How are you?"
"Hi Daddy. I'm fine."
"What did you need?" Arthur asked.
"Well..I'm going into labor." (F/n) said.
"What?! Oh god I-" (f/n) interrupted him with a laugh.
"Not yet. But soon, in a few days. I've felt my first two contractions. So do you think you guys could come up here soon?" (F/n) asked.
"Sure. We'll be there. See you soon, I love you."
"Love you too, Dad. Bye."
"Bye." (F/n) hung up the phone and placed it back on the charger. Then she turned to Matt. "Well, they'll be here soon." (F/n) said. Matt sighed.
"Yeah. Great." Matt rolled his violet eyes. (F/n) walked over to him and sat next to him on the couch. Matt placed his arm around her shoulder and (f/n) leaned into him as close as she comfortably could.
"You'll live. They won't make a lot of noise, that I'm sure of. They get along more anyway and with the baby around they'll be too distracted by him or her to fight with each other." (F/n) assured Matt.
"Yeah I guess you're right."

The next few days went by in a flash. The two families had made it, and (f/n)'s contractions were getting closer and closer.
"Hey..Guys?" (F/n) said to everyone, standing in the living room doorway. "I thinks it's time to go.."
"What?!" Everyone except Francois shouted in unison.
"Are you sure?" Matt stood up.
"Yes, I'm sure!" Don't question me! I know damn well when it's time for my child to be horn and now is the time so let's go!" (F/n) exclaimed, letting her emotions overcome her for a second.
"Wait, aren't you suppose to like, wait a bit?" Alfred asked.
"I've been waiting for nine damn months and now it's time! Let's. Go." (F/n) was getting irritated. She nearly screamed as a contraction hit her and Matt was immediately by her side, his arm around her waist. (F/n) grabbed his free hand and leaned into him, taking deep breaths.
"Okay, guys, seriously let's go." Matt said.
"But who's gonna ride with who?" (2p/n) asked. (F/n) groaned.
"It doesn't matter!" She shouted. "Alfie, Dad, (bf/n), you're with me and Matt. Ollie, Al, Francis, Matthew, (2p/n) you go together. Francois, I know you want to ride alone so go ahead." (F/n) said, not giving anyone who didn't like the arrangement s chance to argue.
"Do we need to-
"I already packed a bag, Matt." (F/n) said.
Once everyone was in a car they headed out. It would take at least an hour to get back to the city. (F/n) sat in between Arthur and (bf/n), Matt and Alfred were in the front, with Matt driving.
When the two families were almost there, (f/n) was in an excruciating amount of pain.
"Matt, drive faster!" (F/n) screamed. She gripped (bf/n)'s and Arthur's hands even tighter.
"I can only drive so fast! Do you want us to get pulled over and take even longer?!" Matt shouted. He didn't mean to sound rude, especially not with her father right there, but he was stressed too. His wife was in pain, he was going to be a father in just some hours, not to mention the costs of the child.
"Don't you talk to my daughter like that!" Arthur exclaimed.
"Look, I'm sorry, but I'm stressed out too. This is my child he's about to have." Matt said.
"Matt.." (F/n) groaned. "..Just..Drive."
When they all the reached their destination almost everyone had to help (f/n) out of the car.
"You okay babe?" Matt asked, his arm around (f/n).
"I'll be okay." (F/n) said.
