Crossing the Line

Carlos has been sent to the Isle of the Lost last night and honestly good riddons. Luca and Alberto JUST Showed up and I don't want new members of the Heroes Council to get scared off because of scum like him. Hey, He choosed his actions and knew the consequences! And Yet, he has the AUDACITY to pretend like HE'S the victim like wow. I was grabbing my stuff from my locker when Uma and Harry walked up to me.

Me: "Hey Uma. Whats up?"

Uma: "Mal, we need to talk."

Me: "Uh about what?"

Harry: "Mal you know what this is about. Its Carlos."

Uma: "Look I don't wanna start any fights but I think you, Jay and Evie might've overreacted a bit."

Me: "(snorts) EXCUSE ME?!"

Uma: "Just listen to me. Carlos and Audrey is right. The footage is so bad that you can't tell WHO IT IS and not gonna lie, Blaming Carlos because the person was wearing his colors is kinda stupid. Anyone can wear black, white and red you know."

Me: "Uma The footage was clear. That was Carlos."

Uma: "Admit it to yourself. It was a overreaction on your guys's part. You didn't even let HIM even have any say at all! You got rid of him."

I thought about it and yeah maybe it was a bit of a overreaction.

Me: "(Sigh) Your right. Im sorry. What do we do now?"

Uma: "Maybe bring him back and apologize?"

Me: "You think he's gonna be pissed?"

Uma: "Very pissed, he kinda has a right to be pissed at us to be fair. But Im sure he'll eventually forgive us. Well I gotta go, Dizzy just called me. She needs me to help out with her new fashion division thats collaborating with Evies so..."

Me: "Yeah...you should probably go..Im sorry if I seem...stressed. This is just a lot for me with preparing to be queen and then..(sigh)."

Uma: "Hey...don't worry about it. Im sure you can fix everything."

Me: "I hope."

I called Ben, Audrey, Jane, Belle, Beast, Fairy Godmother, Dizzy, Celia, Evie, and Jay for a emergency meeting. The more I think about it, the more horrified I am at how I and everyone else behaved and handled it. What if I threw away our friendship with him because I sent him to the isle over a mistake? I feel sick that I described him as a mutt now...the only thing that can make this situation even MORE disastrous Carlos actually DOES become a villain because of US

Me: "Thank you all for coming."

Dizzy: "Okay...I love you and Evie..you two are like older sisters to me..but you kinda went too far when you just sent Carlos to the isle without looking more into it."

Me: "I know...I overreacted..."

Evie: "my god....I was so excited about getting rid of him too...what have we done?"

Jay: "Yeah (scoffs) we were a-holes to him even on the isle! The only thing that can make this worse is if Carlos DOES become a villain."

Fairy Godmother: "I'd hope not...but I wouldn't be surprised and would feel extremely guilty if he did. In all my years of being a important figure, I never handled a situation THIS BADLY before. We all owe him so much more..a simple "Im sorry" won't excuse the pain we caused him."

Thats when the door opened up and we found something truly horrifying. Carlos possessed by the moonstone in the same armor that Cassandra wore when she turned evil. How did he even get out of the isle and get the stone from the Museum in the first place?!

Carlos: "I was hoping you'd be here.."

Me: "Is this a joke?! What are you doing with the moonstone?"

Carlos: "Well...I wanted it so I took It. Aren't you all happy now? You wanted me to be a bad guy, so Now I am one!"

Me: "Carlos..."

Carlos: "SHUT UP MAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Thats when black spikes started growing out of the floor, walls and cellings almost instantly.

Carlos: "I am done with your excuse..You and Jay made life Hell for me on the Isle and as soon as I got my happily ever after, you power hungry jerks!!"

Jay: "CARLOS! Lets take the stone out and sit down with lattes and talk about this civily!"

Carlos: "Your asking ME to be rational after YOU were adamant I was kicked out of Auradon?!"

Jane: "Carlos! Please!"

Carlos: "Oh...who are you gonna fall in love with now until they are falsely accused of something and then you break up with them without even thinking?! Jay?! Chad?! Im done with all of you!!!!!!!!"

More spikes rose up from the ground superfast, one smashing through Fairy Godmother's desk.

Me: "CARLOS! WAIT!"

I kept running after him, trying to avoid the spikes.

Me: "CARLOS!!"

[Song: Crossing the Line]

Mal (singing): This has to stop now! Whatever it is you are going through, we'll fix it together just me and you just like we always done!

Carlos (singing): NO! This has to stop now! This thing where you think you been my friend and don't even hear how you condescend The way you always done!!!"

Mal (singing): Carlos listen

Carlos: Im listening!

Mal (singing): I know it isn't true

Carlos: Isn't it?

Mal (singing): Just look into my eyes, I know you feel it too

Carlos: Perhaps I do

Mal (singing): Carlos listen

Carlos: Im listening!

Mal (singing): I swear its not too late so before another line gets crossed and everything we have gets lost, just wait......

Carlos: Wait? No I won't wait!

The Moonstone glowed and spawned a batch of black spikes blocking Mal from Carlos. Carlos continued to run through the school

Carlos (singing): There's a line between the winners and the losers. Theres a line between the choosen and the rest. And I done the best I could, but I always known just where we stood. Me here with the luckless, you there with the blessed!

And that line between the beggars and the choosers, is a line you never let me quite ignore! How I tried to jump that grave divine, but I never got the chances you were given!! You don't know...how Much I been denied, but Im not gonna be patient anymore

Carlos snapped and spikes spawned into the wall destroying it then Carlos stepped outside

Carlos (singing): Im crossing the line!! And Im done holding back, so look out! Clear the Track! Its my turn!! Im taking Whats Mine, Every drop, every smidge!! If Im burning a bridge let it burn! Im crossing the line

Carlos created a bridge going across the sea even going past thee Isle. Mal finally caught up to him.

Carlos (singing): And as for us, if we're over thats fine!!!!!!!!!"

Mal: "Carlos! Wait!"

Carlos: "Im Crossing The Line."

Carlos took out his sword and cut the first part of the bridge off. Mal ran to the ground as soon as possible before the entire bridge under her fell.
