"There you are, I'm looking all over for you, so everything is in order, the guest will soon begin to arrive in, don't worry it's going to be fantastic, better than Brandon's boisterous gala, it is going to be a great brunch of all time."
Jake stood their caressing Nina's hair.
"Darling you need better curls, I can ask Sofia to assist you before you head to the atelier. After all, it's your house warming brunch."
So why isn't he coming to this brunch? Is Damien too busy or does he want to keep you his secret or is it too soon to see y'all together on the red carpet."
"Don't be such a tease, I don't know if at all I am going for a second date with Damien. He's cool with a hot body, amazing sense of humour but I don't know anything about him."
"Just go with the breeze, take things slowly and you'll learn if things were meant to begin with."
"Awe... You're right Jake, I shouldn't irk my nerves over a date. I need to be ready for the brunch, after all, it's my house warming."
"I'm heading out for a quickie, will return before the guests begin to arrive. Don't worry about anything, leave it to me, I'll do my best and you just need to heed on making some soulful conversations with the media. A lot of assistants to the editors will be here, mingle with them.
"How do you like my dress? Is it too white?"
"Nah, it's perfect, you look stunning, a perfect selection for the occasion. Brunches has to be in whites or at least some bright pastels to make it appear extraordinaire.
"Thanks, you're a sweetheart Jake, what would I do without you."
"You'd just do fine, shall meet you outside in a while. Love ya babe."
"Don't make me wait for too long or I'll be waging half-heartedly."
"I'll be just outside, lurking in the corridor with a cigarette in my hand, I need to beat the heat too. "
"Alright, just one though."
"One it is, how can I say no to my girl."
Jake weirdly smirked and left the room, somewhere he was falling for Nina, as he left the room he realised if gays could have feelings for girls too. It was human to fall in love with beautiful people, Nina seemed to be the perfect combination of beauty and innocence and it was driving him nuts.
Nina was confined looking in the mirror, adjusting her white gown repeatedly." She looked stupendously sensational in her petite stature, she kept adding more mascara to her dovey eyes, innocently defining them, enhancing her enchanting look.
She seemed anxious about the whole affair, gawping at her reflection, thinking how far she had come from home. Was it all happening too soon ? Was she happy here ? was she waiting for this day, away from the darkness that kept her away from this limelight.
Six months back, she didn't know if she could take another step from that haunted house. She had lost her confidence and lack there off continued like a dark shadow.
These were James efforts that gave her the impudence to walk the hall of fame once again. Her depression had inflicted her tenacious intrepidity, leaving her spineless in that huge haunted manor.
A flash back...
