It's been a while since Hyunjin first started to plan his birthday party. He was getting more and more excited as the days went by. The boy was very proud of the idea he came up with for the theme, it was going to be a tea party like he always did with his stuffies, but now there were going to be real people there.

He searched for the things he needed for decoration, food and everything else. He had a vision of how he wanted the party to be and he was gonna do anything for it to meet his expectations.

The day before the actual party, he called one of his friends to help with the things he couldn't do alone. Together they put the table outside in the garden at the back of the house and Chan helped him with some other things until everything was almost done.

"You need my help with anything else?" The older asked.

"No, that's all. Thank you hyungie!" Hyunjin said hugging the other.

"I'll see you tomorrow then, baby. Take care." Chan said kissing his forehead and going out, leaving a blushing Hyunjin behind, the nickname making him feel all fuzzy inside.

Hyunjin finished with the decoration and details, he just had to make the food and take it to the table the next day and it would be perfect. For now, he needed to rest.

There was just one problem.

The boy was so excited that he couldn't sleep. He tried everything, from drinking warm milk to counting sheeps. Nothing was working and he was getting frustrated as he didn't want to be tired for his party.

Eventually he managed to fall asleep, a few hours before he had to wake up again.

Hitting snooze on his alarm clock for the third time, he got up growling, knowing that if he didn't wake up now, he would be late on his schedule. The food wasn't going to magically appear.

Hyunjin got everything he needed to prepare the food and started on his task. The boy carefully did as the recipe told him to and when he finished, it was about lunch time. He ate a little, arranged the food outside and went to get ready for when the guests arrived.

He was satisfied with the decoration of the party. It was light blue and pastel yellow, giving the place a calm atmosphere. A beautiful french door led to the garden where the party would take place and fairy lights were hanging above. The food was beautifully arranged. Little triangular sandwiches and delicate sweets covered the table, with the cake in the middle of it all. It was all so pretty and Hyunjin was so happy.

Soon, a few people started to arrive and the party started. It was nothing big, just his close friends and family, but he couldn't ask for anything else.
