ChapterSixteen-Secret Mission
November 8th, 2007
It was a normal November day at Logan International Airport in Boston. Those arriving and deporting looked like normal people...except for a strange group of people. Oh, you can tell they were young men and women, but their wore hats and sunglasses. You wouldn't know how long, short, or what colour their hair were.
When these people were picking up their tickets, they showed their passports. They were going to Toronto, Canada. Once they showed their passports, airport security immediately knew who they were, but they said nothing.
As they waited to aboard the plane, they distanced themselves from each other. They never said a word to anyone or to each other. They communicated by texting. For one of them, her cell-phone kept ringing. She went to the bathroom to answer it. She made sure the place was empty.
She said to the caller rudely, "Now's not the time! I'll call you back later! So stop f*cking calling me! If you wanna talk to me, text me!"
She hung up abruptly, and then she left the bathroom. Once she was out, the hat-and-sunglasses-wearing people were apparently staring at her. She shrugged her shoulders, and sat down.
Then it was time to board the plane. During the flight to Toronto, the strange people were silent. When they arrived, they were silent. They were silent as they arrived to their hotel. One of them went inside, and checked in. He spoke, but quietly.
There were two hotel rooms booked. One was for the guys, and the other was for the girls. As they entered their rooms. They took off their hats and sunglasses. They breathed a sigh of relief.
These people were UTurn. A few weeks earlier, they filmed their TV Christmas special for PBS. It was a tie-in to their somewhat successful web series, Breaking Out of High School. The special was based on a third grade holiday play that some of the members were in. The original concept was created by Andrew, and he himself decided to update it.
An addition to that, UTurn had wrapped up recording their official songs and their secret songs. As soon as they were finished recording their secret songs, they selected six songs to be on their mixtape CD. They titled it Rebellion, which was named after a song they wrote and recorded. This mixtape was to be sold at the nightclubs they would be performing in.
Their first stop was Toronto. They were to perform at a popular, yet posh, nightclub under a pseudonym, 8th Anthem. They had to do this so their manager, marketing team, and PR team wouldn't track them down. After '8th Anthem' performs at Toronto, they go Montreal under a different. They will do this in all locations.
Once the members settled down, Amanda went outside the girls' room to call back Stan. Stan was the one who kept calling her. She argued with him.
At the same time, the guys were watching TV in their room. They heard Amanda talking really loud in the hallway. Andrew got up from the floor, and looked through the peephole. He saw looking stressed out.
Justin and Trevor noticed. Justin asked, "Why are you spying on Amanda?"
Andrew's face grew red, so he replied sharply, "I just care about her, that's all. Is that a problem?"
Trevor said, "I think you're jealous. Are you in love with someone?"
Andrew turned to face Trevor as he replied, "I'm not in love with Amanda."
"I didn't say Amanda."
Then Andrew said sarcastically, "Oh yeah, I'm in love with that jerk Stan."
