Dion quickly reached the camp using his magic.
"THERE'S NO ESCAPING YOUR FATE , YOU LYING HUMAN."
The monster yelled.
Red woke up from all the noise he heard from the outside.
"What's happening you t-"
"NO TIME TO EXPLAIN RED, GET THE CARRIAGE READY, WE NEED TO RUN NOW."
"But what about our thi-"
"I SAID NOOW!"
All of a sudden the ground from behind Dion exploded and melted into magma before instantly evaporating.
Seeing this, Red instantly left behind everything and took the carriage.
"Let's go you two!"
"You're only ever like this when your life is on the line huh...."
Dion jumped onto the carriage with Lia in his hands.
"COME BACK HERE YOU LYING HUMAN."
The monster stood up with the mountains on its back and started to shoot beams of light.
Dion used his magic to speed up the carriage allowing them to escape its attacks.
The trio was closing in on the forest of wonders.
"Uhh, sir? What do we do now?? The forest is up ahead and the monster is behind us."
"Run straight into the forest Red, we don't have a choice here."
"Alright."
They rushed head first into the forest of wonders.
"I WON'T LET YOU ESCAPE HUMAN."
The monster brought its foot up in an attempt to crush the carriage.
"Red get ready, we're flying in."
Red had a bad feeling when he heard Dion's words.
"Sir? What do you meeEEAAAAAAAA"
The carriage flew with so much speed that the carriage top was torn to shreds by the trees of the forest.
The monster brought out its claws and headed in for one last attack. Its claws grew a bright golden red colour and steam could be seen on it. He swung down his claws and tore right through the trees of the forest.
The heat from its claws were so strong that it caused even the air to disintegrate and turn dry.
The heat from the claws melted the backwheels of the carriage. But they forcefully pushed further into the forest.
The monster took one last look at them before returning to its original spot.
"We finally made it out..."
Red breathed a sigh of relief. But he had no time to catch his breath as they were now in the forest of wonders.
Red gulped as he thought of all the stories he had heard about this place.
"What are you waiting for Red? Lets go."
".....alright sir.."
Red envied Dion's lack of understanding towards this forest they were facing. He had sincerely hoped they could be more prepared to enter the forest but there was no use crying over spoilt milk.
The forest itself was beautiful. Its leaves shone a golden yellow colour. The trunk was a beautiful dark brown, further accentuating the beautiful golden leaves.
