"You have got to be kidding me..."
Myna sighed as she reluctantly got out of the taxi that stopped in front a gate that was a bit too big for her liking. "I get he's a famous footballer but is a gate this big really necessary?" She muttered rolling her eyes.
If it wasn't obvious, Myna did not want to be there.
Flashback
"Apparently there is a bug in the Mbappé household and we need you to find out who or what it is." His voice echoed around the walls, the room too empty for comfort.
Myna shrugged. "I don't want to go."
"You must."
"Why me?"
"Because a familiar face to him would be better than any other."
Myna scoffed. "Please tell me why would I want to go into the house of my high school bully."
She heard him snort and rolled her eyes. How someone so immature became the Head Agent she will never understand.
"Anyways, I have places to be, things to do so get someone else to protect your little football player." She turned round before his next words stopped her in her tracks.
"The pay for this job is enough to make up your sisters' debt."
Myna blinked as thoughts began to consume her mind.
"And you could pay for your grandad's surgery."
She gulped, anger bubbling to the surface. "How could you use such things to convince me to do this stupid job!" She turned round sharply to face him.
His stupid smirk remained and all Myna wanted was to wipe it right off.
"I'm not using it against you. I'm just helping you see the results of your work if you do complete this job."
She remained silent.
"Isn't this what you wanted. To be free from HQ and live peacefully with your Grandad? I personally know it is something you have wanted for a very long time."
Myna released a long sigh as she placed a hand to her forehead.
"So is that a yes?"
End Flashback
"So iS tHaT a YeS?" Myna mimicked him as she huffed her way to the gate. She pressed the button to alert the family she was here.
She couldn't lie, she was nervous. Her high school life was hell because of him and she was not ready to face him. To be honest she never really wanted to see him again.
"Hello," a crackly voice spoke through the speaker.
"Ah, hello? My name is Samantha Hugh and I've come to babysit Ethan," Myna stated as she recalled the script that he had given her. There is no way an agent could use their real name so the fact that he said a familiar face was the reason he chose her was such a lie.
"I can't believe I fell for his stupid reasons...again..." she muttered. Myna didn't want to admit it but her appearance had also changed drastically since high school so there was in fact a very low chance that Kylian would even recognise her.
"Uh, yes, come on through Miss Hugh." The crackly voice brought her back to reality as she thought about ways to get back at the Head Agent.
The extremely, too large in Myna's opinion, gates slowly opened allowing her to walk up the steep driveway to the house.
"There.....is no need......for this driveway to be so steep and long," she panted as she reached the front door, finally.
"That is very true," a voice spoke out behind her making her jump out of her skin.
She turned round to see a man who looked slightly older than herself smiling down at her. Myna awkwardly smiled back, she was never the most sociable person but by being someone else in her missions she was able to create new persona's that were much different to her real self.
She shook her head as she remembered she was on a mission. "Um, hello, I'm not breaking in by the way I'm actually here to babysit someone called Ethan, I'm not sure if you know who that is but you know," Myna rambled as the guy surpressed a laugh.
"Could you speak any faster?" He asked as Myna blinked. Damn I need to get into character quick, she thought.
"My name is Jirés by the way, I'm Ethan's older brother."
"Oh, nice to meet you, I'm Samantha." He nodded in reply while opening the door and allowing her to step in.
Myna gaped at the chandelier that glistened in the foyer and the red velvet carpet that covered the floor.
"What the f-""Dad!" A kid pattered onto the carpet as he came downstairs. Myna found him so cute she couldn't stop staring at him. "Isayah, I was gone for half a hour," Jirés laughed as he held the young boy.
Myna smiled softly as it reminded her of her parents who she missed tremendously. She was momentarily lost in her memories when a voice she wished she would never have to hear again spoke up behind her.
"Who is she?"
