Amira was sleeping in the 2 BHK apartment that Sara owned when she heard the doorbell. She frowned, her sleep disturbed because of this. Nevertheless, she got up and dragged herself to open the door.
She opened the door and was greeted by Sara who looked quite tired. She gave Amira a weak smile who smiled back at her. She entered the House and Amira closed the door behind her.
"Amira, I am very tired. I am going to sleep. If you need anything then you can wake me up."
"Sure! Go and take rest."
Sara smiled at her and went to her room to have a good sleep. After taking a warm shower, she felt into deep slumber. Amira took a shower and made breakfast for both of them. She didn't know whether Sara would be waking up before lunch or not but still she prepared breakfast for her.
As she sat for breakfast, she sighed, feeling lonely. She knew that Sara was there for her, but she missed her Parents. She wanted to talk to them but decided against it.
She had her breakfast and then cleaned the dishes. She wanted to prepare lunch for both of them but then she remembered that Sara was a hardcore non vegetarian and she loved chicken and fishes.
On the other hand, Amira's family didn't like to eat non vegetarian food. Not having anything else in the kitchen, she decided to go for Maggi. She grinned when she saw the packets of Maggi. No matter whichever country you are residing in, Maggi noodles always stay in the hearts of Indians.
She stirred the Maggi in the bowl and heard someone yawning cutely.
"Wow! Even I love Maggi!"
Amira smiled when she heard Sara exclaiming in happiness. Sara settled on the dining table and started eating as soon as Amira came there with the bowls.
"There was nothing in the kitchen so I just made this."
"It's okay. I love it anyway. But I guess there were a few eggs and chicken in the fridge."
Amira didn't say anything but twirled the noodles in her fork. Sara understood her silence and mentally kicked herself for being so stupid.
"I am sorry. I didn't know that you are a vegetarian. If I would have known, I would have kept a few things in the pantry."
"It's okay. We both didn't talk about it so no one is to be blamed."
They both smiled at each other and had their lunch.

"What are your favourite vegetables? Potatoes or carrots?"
Sara asked as she gently threw a potato and a carrot simultaneously at Amira which she gracefully caught.
"Well caught!"
