"Ok, so if you really like him you gotta prove to him, but don't try too hard ok?" Ryan was heeding the advice, "but I met him yesterday," Joey sucked his teeth before pointing a finger at Ryan making him jump a bit, "love isn't limited by time," Ryan was a taken back by the use of the word love, he was definitely attracted to Derek not just for his amazing looks but for his down to earth behavior.

"I'm not saying make a move today, or tomorrow, but the second you think he's showing the slightest interest, you make that move, and you come back to me we talk about wedding pizza's and I'll give your kids a coupon for free pizza as the 10th birthday gift," Ryan chuckled and then smiled.

Thankful for the man Ryan sent him a beaming smile, "thanks Joey, you are the best," Derek said taking one bag of pizzas and handing it to Ryan to hold, and a big bottle of coke.

While he held the same things in his arms

"Thank you for the food," Ryan said to Joey earning a smile and wink from the man, "Derek if you don't date him I will," Derek laughed, "your married and staright," Joey put a finger over his lips.

"Sshh," Derek laughed, "bye Joey," Derek walked away with Ryan.

"You seem good with people," Ryan said, "yeah I guess, um, I was raised here actually, in the 'ghetto,'" Derek putting finger quotes around ghetto.

A confused Ryan asked, "how, what?" Derek looked the kids in the park playing, "well I get my fortune from my mom, she fell in love with a window cleaner, had a baby, I'm that baby, and then abandoned us, my dad died of...cancer," Derek was speaking normaly until he mentioned his dad and cancer.

"When he died she came for me, I was 14 so I was quite accustomed to living here," Derek said referring to the 'ghetto,' "then she died, her husband didn't dare to take her money and her wealth so he give it all to me, at nineteen, nine years later here I am and yeah, that's ma lifes story that you didn't ask for," Derek said a bit embarrassed for he felt like he over shared.

"It's fine, I liked that you opened up to me, seeing I am a stranger," Ryan chuckled, Derek looked up at Ryan, "I don't. I don't consider you a stranger," Derek had no idea how dangerous that sentence was.

Ryan smiled in joy, that smile made Derek cheeks hot and his distraction, the front of his sneaker stumped risin concrete from the side walk, that caused the man to lose his balance almsot falling on his face, if not for Ryan who caught the man, Ryan helped the man stand steady on his own two feet.

Looking at the short man, Ryan couldn't help but smile more as Derek picked up the big bottle of soda in embarrassment.

"Uh, I heard your parents were, lovely people, loved by a lot of people," Ryan smiled, "yeah, my mother would've loved you, I don't think my father would've liked you, maybe tolerate you," Derek felt a bit offended.

Wanting to look up at Ryan and asked why, he decided against for the he didn't want to trip again, "why?" Ryan shrugged, "he wouldn't hate you, but he has no reason to try to get to know you, so you'd just be there like any other person," Ryan chuckled to himself.

"Both my parents would've hated, dad would've pitied you, momy would've bullied you," Derek chuckled, "is this what this is?" Ryan asked not sounding upset, "huh?"

They reached the car, "are you doing this out of pity?"

Derek nodded and put the things in the backseat with the help of Ryan.

They moved the front seats, "that doesn't mean it's a bad thing, and it doesn't me I don't like you-" "you like me?" Ryan asked with a smirk leaning in his face inches away from Derek's.

Knowing the reaction it would bring out in Derek, Ryan looked Derek striaght in his eyes, Derek blushed with a galre, "not in that way," Derek pushed Ryan's face away from being too close to his, the action made Ryan laugh.

"You're actually cool, I mean you're funny with a sense of humor, you seem kind hearted, you've just been given little opportunities to show it, you're stiff and a bit uptight but, we can change that, or use it for good," Derek said, Ryan just stared at the tomato shade man in amusement.

Derek turned a corner, "you know you're not as bad as I thought, I thought you'd be a challenge," Derek chuckled, "if it's a challenge you want you should take Ryder out, the dude is a literal spoiled brat." Ryan looked out the window.

The driver laughed, "you think this is just for you?" Ryan looked over at the man, "I plan to take the stick out of all you're asses, Raven doesn't seem to have one though." Ryan cringed for it sounded like Derek favored his sister more.

"You're back, was it fun?" Raven asked, "yeah, it actually was," Ryan smiles, Ryder looked up from his phone and his curiosity poked at him, he had to know, he needed to know why his brother held to huge bags with two huge bottle of cola, why did he have them, and again what was in the bag, so he summoned the great Sherlock Holmes and asked a question so conducted that it would lead him to the exact answer he needed

With a deep breath Ryder asked, "what's that?"

Ryan looked down at the bag before raising it in their air, "pizza, we have to heat them up first." Ryan said.

The siblings stood around the oven, "do we just turn on the oven?" Ryder asked, "how di you turn on the oven?" Ryan asked "wait you guys don't know how the oven works?" Raven asked, the brothers looked at her and asked in unison, "do you?" She scoffed, "of course not I thought one of you knew," Ryan chuckled, "I've never used it before."

Ryder took out his phone, "how to turn on an oven to heat up pizza...." he mumbled as he typed.

After almost an hour later, they sat down and ate, "this is... this is amazing," Ryan said taking another big bite of his all American pizza, "I don't like the pineapple one," Raven said,Ryan's eyes popped, "right!"

"I'll trade you with this baconstrip," Ryder said.

The siblings exchanged slices into their boxes, Ryan smiled at how happy they looked, it's been a while since they spent time together like this, it made Ryan wish the night would never end, or everynight for the rest of his life would be like how he was with his parents.

"Holy shit," Ryder said watching as the big giant half woman half octopus got stabbed in the stomach with a ship on the big tv. Raven gasped, she whiped her head to Ryan, "I thought this was a kids movie," Ryan nodded in surprise and said, "it is," before drinking some soda along with his siblings.

The siblings spent the rest of the night, happy, eating, and watching disney movies, while neglecting their work for the first time since they've been given their jobs.

Ryan checked his phone seeing a text message from a friend of his, he replied instantly before putting his phone down and returning his focus to the big screen infront of him.
