James meets Luna

            After dinner I thought I'd go to bed because apparently I'm starting school tomorrow and as I was about get to bed I noticed someone walking outside, I got curious decided to watch the person appeared to be around the age of 10  and they appeared to be a little frightened, I just stood there watching I didn't realize how much time had passed until I noticed the person looking at their watch that made me wonder what the time was as well and I decided to check the and notice it was almost midnight then I looked back at the person then I heard a faint sound that resembled that of water dripping then I heard a scream and right in front of them there was a girl with pale skin, blonde hair and she was wet 'who is that' I thought then I started listen to what she was saying and could only make out the sentence "wanna play?" and she disappeared,  I was beyond surprised but it didn't end there the person started running toward the lake and jumped into it and didn't come out, 'what was that?, who was that girl?' these were the questions that ran through my mind, I decided to sleep it off.

          It's finally morning and the events that happened last night started playing again and I didn't know what to think but I had to get to school on time, didn't want to be late on my first day, I got ready and my dad dropped me off at school.  I saw students walking around, talking to each other and so on, I thought I might enjoy myself here until I bumped into someone" watch were your going" I heard the person say I looked up and saw a guy that was taller than me, he wore blue t-shirt and a black jacket with blue jeans, his hair was unkept and he looked angry " sorry about that, my names James " I said " what's yours?" " Sean, your the new kid right? hope to see you in class" and he walked away, it may not seem it but he looked upset then I felt someone tap my shoulder and I turn around to meet a familiar face "hey James, seems you've met Sean" Emma said "yeah, is there something wrong with him? he looks upset" she first frowned and bowed her head " yeah this morning they found his brother's lifeless body in the lake, guess he was killed by Luna" I first gave her a confused look "who is Luna?" I said " sorry she is a ghost that is presently hunting the town and killing children, people have been moving out of town because they don't want their children to die" she said, now I was getting somewhere to solving this mystery I just needed more information about this ghost, Luna. I didn't know how long I had been thinking about I heard Emma say "wait! you actually believe that, the story of Luna is just something our parents tell us so we don't leave the house" Emma said, at this point I was confused if she is just a myth how I saw last night? " I saw her" I say in low tone, Emma looked at me confused "I was looking out the window and I saw a girl with a boy who I am guessing is Sean's brother" Emma had a frightened look her face " you mean to tell me that Luna might actually be real?" she said, I just nodded my head yes, "we should talk about this later we have get to class" she said and coincidentally the bell rang and we went to class.

                To say my first day in a new school was fun is a lie it was totally boriiiing!, but thank goodness it is over so I can finish my conversation with Emma, just when I was about to catch up with her I hear a familiar voice say "James can you see me in my office?" it was Mr. Jackson and right now I wish I could just run away because I find that guy kind of creepy, I walk into his office and greet him "take a sit " he says, I sit down uncomfortably he starts by saying "I would like to personally welcome you to our school and as well apologize for our encounter yesterday, I was just ensuring your safety" I got confused "my safety as in how?" I asked " well you probably may have heard of the stories of Luna from a few of your classmates" I nodded not sure were this is going "well the thing is that she attacks children of ages 1-17, therefore people like you aren't exactly safe" he finished, I was now curious so I decided to asked " sir could you tell me everything about Luna?" he looked out of the window for a while then said "I think it's about time you went home " I didn't want to annoy so I just left. I am now walking home wondering how I can get more info about this Luna then I hear someone call me, I look around to see Emma " what happened to 'meet up after school'? I was waiting for you only to find out you had already gone" she seemed angry at this point "sorry" I start with a nervous look on my face "I was called by Mr. Jackson, so I kind of forget" I was I expecting her to still be angry then she said " creepy old Jackson called you? okay you of the hook" "wait creepy old Jackson?" "yeah thats what all the kids in school call him" "if you ask me that name suits him"  a familiar voice said, I look behind me to find Sean there "hey short stack here says you saw Luna last night with my brother I wanted to hear it from you "  Sean said with a straight face " I have told you to stop calling me that I am the average height for a girl" Emma retorted angrily "I'm sure" Sean said sarcastically "so back to you new kid what exactly does she look like? ",  " well she looks our age, has black hair and is wearing a white dress and she appeared to be wet", then Sean asked "how exactly does she kill kids, because all my parents just tell me she kills kids but how does she"  he asked eagerly " well I not exactly sure how she does it  but what i can remember is that she appeared and said wanna play and disappeared and your brother ran into the river" .
