A faint buzzing somewhere in the room finally catches Yoongi's ears. He wakes up in a panic to his phone buzzing, realizing he's fallen asleep in the tiny farm house after breaking down over his bees. Obviously it's more than just about the bees that drove him to a wreck. He knows very clearly what's really laying deep behind all these sudden emotions.
Yoongi looks to see it's still light out, he really shouldn't mope around any longer. He hurries to the wooden shack outside, picks up some tools and heads towards the damaged beehives. While the sky is still clear as he walks up the path again, something smells different in the air. He looks up to find a hint of pink and orange, he sure hopes it's not a sign of a storm coming.
As much as he doesn't want to have another breakdown, his apiary should be his first priority right now. The sooner he can restore the two boxes, the faster he can get the hives started again.
From a distance he spots something laying on top of the boxes, he's sure it wasn't there earlier when he checked on them. Once he gets close enough, he finds a few yellow flowers laying on top of the two damaged boxes. His farm land isn't anywhere close to any other residence or farms, so chances of someone leaving them should be fairly low but not impossible. Then again, it's just a few flowers scattered on top, it's possible they were blown over by a gust of wind.
He casually brushes them off the top and starts clearing out the dead bees. He pulls out some of the frames and checks for what he can salvage. It shouldn't be a problem for him to reintroduce a new hive once he gets everything ready.
Soon the sky slowly turns darker, the birds are flying about returning to their nests. He looks up to find the pastel coral sky turns to a deeper hue. Yoongi nods proudly at his work and heads back to the farm house. A growl in his stomach reminds him it's already way past dinner time, there's really no point for him to drive all the way back out to the city, back to his apartment. He rummages through his very empty kitchen, a deep sigh leaves his lips over the sight of a few old packages of instant noodles. It somehow reminds him of the old times back in university, being as frugal as he could so he can pay for tuition. Sleeping only a few hours a day so he could fit in more hours to teach guitar to support himself. And now, all of that hard work is all gone.
Shit. Maybe it's all a sign for him to move on and really focus on starting fresh. All of these memories hounding into his mind aren't doing any good.

It's another nice bright day when he wakes up in the morning, it's been awhile since he's able to sleep through the night without waking up. Feeling much better and energized, Yoongi decides to go for a morning stroll before freshening up. It'll be nice to do another round of inspection on his hives with the sun shining.
Then there it is again, more yellow flowers on top of his two broken hives. If it was blown over by wind then there should be flowers on top of other hives too, so why only these two? Yoongi truly believes someone's playing a prank on him. Perhaps a neighbour has been lurking about when they saw him sobbing over his bees. As much as he wants to find out who it could be, he needs to get the damaged boxes replaced first. Instead of staying lurking in the house to spot the prankster, he decides to drive back out to the city, pack a few things from his apartment before coming back with a few new boxes.
The afternoon is a peaceful one, after setting up the new boxes and teaching a few private guitar lessons over zoom, Yoongi decides to have a quiet night. He makes a few dishes he hasn't made in awhile, then eats quietly just outside his porch.
After finishing a much needed hearty meal, Yoongi dozes off on the porch with a small blanket over his lap. A small breeze wakes him to a dark sky full of twinkling stars, a beautiful scene he'll never get tired of. Just as Yoongi readies himself to move back inside, a small green light in the distance catches his eyes. It moves in such a way it almost looks like fireflies, except it's much too big to be one from this far of a distance. Then Yoongi quickly realizes, it's exactly from the direction where his bees are, which means it's highly possible the prankster has returned to leave flowers again.
