There was a shrill cry of a child resonating through the hospital walls, nurses and doctors gathered in groups, some talking while some were running around, fighting in every way to save lives.. the world around them were busy, chaotic and moving fast.. and yet,
Jaebeom's world was laying emotionlessly on a hospital bed, a white bandaid wrapped around his head, numerous wires attached to his thin, bony wrists.
Hours had passed, and there was no movement from the bruised member laying on the hospital bed. Fortunately all the crying had eventually made their two youngest members pass out on either side of Youngjae's shoulders, as the boy himself was blankly staring off to the distance. It was understandably stressful for all of them as it was a shock,
Seeing Jinyoung passing out right in front if their eyes had felt as though someone was trying to rip their hearts out of their chests.. they had never had experienced such horror, to see the pillar of their group fall down on to the cold marble floor as if he were an unfortunate tree being cut down..
Mark and Jackson were seated in a corner, huddled together like penguins while Jaebeom had taken his place next the bed where his heart lay, he clutched the boy's hand tightly. As much as he prayed for the younger man to wake up, his own heart wailed at the sight of relaxation on Jinyoung's face, free of all worries and stress..
Just then, a quiet calling of his name had the leader looking up to where their manager stood with four cups of coffee, the man nodded towards the slumbering couple and Jaebeom as he signalled them to step outside,
The three oldest boys accepted the hot beverage with a grateful smile and it was then that Jaebeom decided to bring up an important question,
"Hyung, do you think there is any possibility we could move around Jinyoung's filming schedule a bit? He works too hard and rests too little"
The boys watched with quizzed faces as the man nodded his head, pulling out his phone while muttering to himself but unfortunately for him, being in the entertainment industry for as long as they had, they had learned to pick up on the slightest of voices,
"As if it would help that boy with everything else going on"
Jaebeom immediately looked over to Mark and Jackson, sharing a confused look while the three youngest members slowly walked out of the room, rubbing away the remainder of the sleep away from their eyes, shaking their heads with sad looks when Mark questioned them about whether or not Jinyoung had woken up,
The six members were stood close to each other, patiently waiting for their manager to be done with his phone call. Jackson was the first one to pounce on the unsuspecting man with a question,
"Hyung.. before you took the call, you said something about everything else going on.. what did you mean by that?"
The man paled slightly, not expecting the boys to have heard what he said, his odds at the moment were to tell them the truth and have Jinyoung absolutely murder him in his sleep later, or to come up with a lie on the spot and having to watch as the company executives push the younger man beyond his limits as soon as he was out of the hospital,
