I sit there for 10 more mins waiting for my brother.

Pulling up to McDonald's i order a coffee and a hashbrown then Kayy orders her food i look down to check my phone when i notice a text from my boyfriend Jason Me and Jason have been dating for 1 year now the relationship has been good but going to highschool has changed our relationship he lies more than usual now.

There was no need to reply we were already pulling up to the school i got out the car and nervously headed to the front gates going into the hallways to my locker im getting my books then somebody comes up and smack my butt i turn around to see it was jason he smiled and hugged me acting normal i said so what did u wanna talk about his smile slowly disappeared and he just stood there for one minute then he kissed me and said nevermind he will tell me later at this time the bell rang we parted ways and went to class i couldnt stop thinking of what he wanted to tell me .

Kayy's Pov- I sit in class waiting for it to be over i didn't really talk to anybody in this class so i was kinda lonely it felt like the class was dragging on i sat there staring at the clock 5 minutes later i was daydreaming i had a flashback of when my mom first left me and my brother on our own. I was 9 years old and my brother was 6 my mom did drugs when i was 5 she did them to the age of six then she became clean for 2 and a half years then it went down hill when my father died she began getting depressed she started using again i remember her tucking me in to bed telling me goodnight then when i woke up to use the bathroom i see her layed out on the floor with belts and needles i run to my room and sit in my bed the next day i wake up and my brother was crying because he said he was hungry i wake up to look for my mom but she was no where to be found i go to the kitchen to find empty containers and old food i go back to my room sitting on my bed while my brother plays with his 1 toy we shared a red little car we sat there hungry hoping and waiting for our mom to come back 1 day had passed and she still wasnt back i woke up and went to the store i didnt have any money i had no choice but to go steal from the store down the street i put on my jacket and told my little brother to wait at home that i would be back i went down to the store and i got food for us to eat simple stuff i went back home and fed my brother we werent in school at the time because we had just moved to the area so we sat and watched tv mom still haven't came back it was going on a week now me and my brother were sleep when the police busted threw the door with their guns drawn looking for my mother i woke up to see their lights in my face they took me and my brother down to the station i tell them i dont know where my mother is and they tell us everything is going to be ok i look over to see my brother crying i go console him telling him everything is good the next day they call around trying to find a family member for us to stay with the only family member that wanted us was my Aunt Sue and her Girlfriend we lived with them for about 4 years then one day my mom popped up at my aunts house and said she wanted her kids back we moved to a little apartment on peach street and i was 14 at the time she stayed sober for 3 years she had gone to rehab she met her boyfriend Mark they started dating everything was going good then he turned her back on to drugs she left our life once again i had no choice but to provide for me and my little brother. **Flashback Ending**
