Okay super long chapter, enjoy!

...

"Here's the color options Dad came up with," Camille explained, "and here are the colors I thought you'd like."

Mor sat on her bed with her mother, looking through the paint samples. There were different colors of gray, cream, blue, pink, and sunset warm colors. Her mother's choices were blush pink, light purple, light french gray, and sunset orange. She looked back up at her. "I'm alright with whatever, ma'am. Whatever works best for the rest of the room."

"Well, we can really go with any of these. Or, if you wanted to do more than one color, we could pick one for the walls and one for the main decor. It's your choice, I want you to be happy with what you choose with."

Mor stared at each of the colors. "I...I like these two a lot." She pointed to the gray and pink her mother picked out. "Is that okay?"

"Yes, yes of course honey. Remember, you can pick out whatever you want." She looked at the color options then pulled out some matching decor choices from her binder that she brought when she came back that afternoon. "Okay, and here's some bedding choices. Do you like any of these? We could do the blush pink for the decor, then the really light gray for the walls. Are you okay with that?"

"Yes, ma'am." She looked at the bedding patterns. "They're so pretty," she said.

"Mhm. Here, you can do any of these patterns, or we could look at other colors."

Some had embroidery on them, a few plain colors but different shades going from white to dark pink and patterned quilts. "This one's really pretty." She pointed to the plain blush pink one with small scrunches in the fabric. "Is that just the top layer of the bed, ma'am?"

"Yes, it is. The sheets will probably just be white, but if you want we can do a pattern with it too."

"I'm okay with just white."

"Okay, if you like that. And what if we did the same color pink for the curtains? It would pop against the gray walls." She showed her a picture of the curtains.

"Alright, ma'am." She looked at the pillows next. "Are these all for sleeping on? There's a lot of choices."

Camille smiled. "No, love. These are all decorative pillows. For your bed, you're going to have big, fluffy pillows to sleep on." She pulled her into an embrace and Kova giggled. "These are more for decoration."

"Is that why they're different shapes?" Mor picked up a picture of a gold circle pillow with a button in the middle.

"Exactly. And they come in different sizes too."

They both settled on four decorative pillows, ranging in shape and size. Mor's personal favorite was a large white pillow with a fluffy covering. When she picked out bed decor and wall colors, Camille made a plan in her mind over the rest of the room, and in just two weeks it would be ready, just in time for her daughter to move in.

"You chose some really good decor and colors, Kove." Camille separated things chosen in the binder from the options. "I'm really excited for you to see it when you're done."

Mor hugged her stuffed bear to her chest. "Thank you for letting me pick, ma'am."

"Of course, darling. I'm so glad you did. Are you excited to move out of the hospital?"

Mor looked around the room. Kids were all doing different things, talking with their nurses, playing games with each other, napping. Some kids were even in the other room watching a movie. "I'm excited to move in with my family, ma'am."
