Chapter 1

Your pov
You woke up and got your old uniform ready because hikari made us promise to wear it as pride at the surface then I hurried downstairs and ate breakfast. I got out of the house and went to go meet the others it was kind of salty outside. Once I got there  hikari was yelling at manaka. You then got beside hikari and hit him in the back of the head "stop that you're hurting her idoit" he then rubbed the back of his neck manaka then left to go change her uniform and I waited for her while she came back a net came behind us and caught us while we got all the way up, I met eyes with this boy and I had to admit he was pretty cute. No, I can't think that he is a surface person. Some time passed and we are Infront of the class introducing ourselves  chisaki went first "I'm Hirafaira chisaki, I'm hoping that I can soon get used to living on the surface it's nice to meet you all."she said then it was kaname turn " I'm Isaki kaname. Nice to meet you."every one started laughing "it smell like fish, doesn't it? Man, sea people are totally lame!" A dude said I just looked at them with a bored expression. Hikari was getting mad and said "ugh why does it stink in here" i just looked at the boy I saw earlier hikari then continued "hikari sakishima all your surface people smell like pigs, it's nice to meet Ya oink" he said "hiki" said manaka "make sure you give it to them good manaka" then they started fighting "I'm y/n l/n and next time you make fun of somebody's smell make sure you take a shower Ya'll smell like Ya'll haven't showered in day, man Ya'll really stink" I said sticking my tongue out hikari just smiled of what i said I gave him a little smirk and I just went to my seat.
~Time skip ~
We were now looking at the boys run and the boy that I met earlier was pretty fast but hikari was trying to catch up to him but tripped and he thought that was the perfect moment and he made him fall with him that idiot. 

~time skip~

Right now, I'm in my bed thinking about kihara i believe that was his name. I don't know whats with me I just can't stop thinking about him it's weird. And I really have to stop because I will be banned from the sea if they ever find out that I think a surface boy is cute and hikari wouldn't be happy with me
~the next morning~
We were at manaka's house waiting for her I knocked, and her mom opened and told us she hasn't gone out of her room. Then hikari went to her room while we were just waiting. We are now in class and manaka asked for hikari and chisaki they had a wood job whatever that is this girl pulled manaka and they were touching her skin chisaki was telling them to let go and they wouldn't  listen "I think you should let her go before you regret it" I said glaring at them kihara came in and manaka then ran but hit her leg and it made a fart sound then she left running. Hmm she must have gotten cursed by lord uroko. I thought to myself. later on  we couldn't find her but our ena was drying up the others decided to go back but hikari wanted to find manaka so I went with him we ran to try to find her but we couldn't it eventually got dark and hikari was waiting while I was in the sea getting my ena stronger so we can continue looking for manaka I then got out "took you long enough" said hikari " shut up" I said "come on let's continue" hikari said "ok I'm going, chill" I said walking behind him he then saw a dude with a bike looking thing and Manaka walking right by him " manaka  Manaka manaka" hikari kept shouting  " I'm here Hiki" said manaka I then saw clearly who it was the boy kihara, hikari looked mad he started running towards him and I ran after him and pulled him from his shoulder "don't do this it's not worth it he helped her now let's  leave him alone and let's go you know our  parents are worried" I said in a stern tone then manaka ran towards us "hiki he saved me" manaka said I then saw the fish that lord uroko cursed her. ' I knew it' I said in my head I then turned at hikari he looked shocked. I then understood that he knew but was broken that manaka showed someone else besides him. He then pushed my arm away from his should " let's go" he said mad he grabbed manaka from her wrist and left I stood back " I'm sorry for hikari he is an idiot but he just wants to protect her" I said pinching my nose "it's fine" he said "thank you for helping manaka" I said bowing my head " it's not a problem" he said "I'll see you at school" I said and waved at him and jumped into the sea while he was waving at me. I got home and went straight to bed.
