Hadley's POV
One week later
Here I am standing at my own twin brothers funeral. There's so many people here that I don't even know half of them. Almost the whole school came. I'm standing in front of him open cassette sobbing. All my friends are standing next to me. Greyson, Madison, Riley, Aiden, Preston, Hayden, Madelyn, and Raelynn.
This whole week I've been crying non-stop. The principal gave me as much time as I needed off. I just told him i would wait until after the funeral to come back. I couldn't miss too much school or i would start failing. Soon everyone took their seats. It was time for speeches and of course mine was first. As I made my way to the podium I tried to pull myself together.
Um, Harvey was my twin brother and honestly don't know how I'm going to survive this without him." I started to speak but couldn't help the tears that streamed down my face. "I love him so much and—" I started to sob. I couldn't help it and ran off the stage. I heard many footsteps following me. I stopped running and slid down the wall still sobbing.
"Hadley, it's going to be okay." Madi told me.
"No it's not going to be okay! I lost him! I needed him and he left me! I don't... I can't believe he's g-g-gone." I cried out. They all went in for a group hug.
"Shh, it's okay." I heard one of them say.
But it won't be okay.
