It has only been a few days since dad was out of retirement and it seems normal besides his new temper, he was so calm and now so uptight about everything. But he still is over protective of me. I can't even talk to the new youth male in our group before dad drags me away from him for a 'health check' from mangle.

"Dad we were just talking about our weapons, I don't want another health check from mangle" I pleaded pulling my arm.

"Right.... Y'all were definitely not flirting. Just because I'm half blind doesn't mean I don't know what that was. Besides, do you ever know the boys name!?"

"Yes I do! It's William, he's bon's son. He is so nice and sweet, we both have alot in common." I snapped then continued. " Just because he is male and I'm not doesn't mean we can't be friends-"

"This is the only thing I want you to learn about the youth, they are only focus on two thing and that's mates and pups. I was young once too and I don't want you to think they just want to be just friends darlin, I'm just-"

"Stop saying that! Your not trying to protect me! You just want me to still be a childless and mateless queen!" I snapped as he grabbed my arm, not very tight but enough to have a hold of me.

"Your not yet a queen. You and not mateless, your not ready to be a queen at all, give it a good year... For me..?" He begged, dad never begged unless he wanted something done.

"Fine, but at least let us talk to each other without you dragging me away." I said half lying to him. My father always worried to much, and I wish he didn't.

"Fine..." he nodded his voice was soft and sad sounding. I just gave him a smile and walk back to my friend, he was very much taller than me. Being 17 that what was normal, he smiled a ginormous smile and spoke.

" so what was that about?"

" just my dad being overprotective, he has been like that since I could remember."

" that's interesting for the death bringer" he said with a smile, slowly tilted my head like I've seen so many others do.

" why does everybody keep calling him the death bringer? It's very confusing, I have no idea why they keep saying that."

" Wait... so you're his daughter, that knows nothing about his past. And to put everything on top you're confused on why everybody keeps calling him the death bringer?" He said his ears tilted to the side confused as well, I nodded softly. " that's a surprise." He said chuckling. " The reason why we gave him that nickname is, during his youth days your father was a menace in the ring. No male could match his strength and agility, my father used to tell me that there was one thing that made him different from everybody else. Are used to give people mercy, by letting them choose to surrender before he killed them. Debating on how they treat him during their fight, heavily depends on if he gave them mercy." William explained. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, he used to kill others. " if you want I know he will be going in a few, but we can join the older other kins watching your father in the ring?"

" i'd like to see how much he fights differently than me."

" so I guess it's a date then?" He purred pushing me up to the wall. I could feel my face heat up at how close our faces were.

"Sure will~" I purred trying to match the Same tone ad him.

"Before the match ends you want to go play a game with me in my room? We just got to be quiet~"

"Depending on what kind of gAME!- OH HI DAD!" I said as William quickly got off of me.

"Hello sweetie, I'm just here to tell you they are going to take me away for a while so golden is going to watch after you till I get back"

"Ok dad!" I said hopeful he didn't see what me and William just did. He looks at William with narrow eyes and walks off probably to get ready for the battle.

"I'll come get you once it starts ok wolf?" He smiled, I nodded in response.
