"Yes! I will" tears rolling down joohyun's cheeks, "You taught me how to start again after falling down. You taught me how to love again, jun. I love you too". Junmyeon wipes the tears with the back of his hand, smiling and eyes shining from the happiness because joohyun said yes. He puts the ring on her finger and hugs her. And then suddenly they hear noise from another table and they saw eight boys coming with a cake, cheering for them. They are minseok, yixing, baekhyun, jongdae, chanyeol, kyungsoo, jongin and sehun and they are junmyeon's friends who he considers his family.
"I told you, hyung. See, she said yes" chanyeol says. "Congratulations junmyeon and joohyun, hyung is happy for you" minseok congratulates. "Did we interrupt something? Were you gonna kiss?" Baekhyun teases leaving all of them bursting into laughter and joohyun's cheeks go red. "Thank you for supporting me, guys. I know I wouldn't be able to do this without you. Thanks a lot" junmyeon says. "Enough! Now, don't say you love us in front of her" sehun says laughing. "Wait. Did you guys kiss? OMG! is she pregnant?" Confused yixing asks and sehun and chanyeol fall on the ground laughing. "Yaaaa yixing!" Junmyeon says shyly but yixing is still confused. "But I'm really really happy for you guys, congratulations!" Jongin exclaims. "You joined the club, hyung" jongdae says hugging junmyeon. Junmyeon and joohyun thank them. They ask the boys to join the two for celebration but they denied saying they don't want to be a nuisance to them and Junmyeon and joohyun should spend the time with each other, so they left.

After everyone left, an awkward atmosphere took over. Both of them were too shy to start a conversation. Junmyeon starts rubbing his nape and joohyun laughs seeing him shy. "You were so confident while proposing me and now you look like you would rather dig a hole in the ground and bury yourself" she says. "That would be better" he drawls out, "Jokes apart, thank you for saying yes. I am so glad to have you in my life". "Maybe one year is not that much of a long time but what I feel when I'm with you, I have never felt anything of that sort with anyone else. I should thank you for staying with me, for trusting me through the dark times when I couldn't trust myself. And I'm the one who is grateful to have someone like you in my life" joohyun says looking into junmyeon's eyes, smiling softly. He stares back at her with the same intensity, both their eyes twinkling with happiness and excitement. 'She is so pretty; God really said screw it and painted stars in her eyes. I can gaze at those stars for the rest of my life" he thinks. And he plans to. "You look so beautiful tonight" he kisses her.
