"Cali I'm home!" Audelia called. Silence. "Calista?" Audelia called again, confused. The house was soundless. 'Maybe she's out in the back garden' Audelia thought to herself. She half jogged out to the back garden, in a mild panic. "CALISTA?!" She shouted, starting to panic as she couldn't see her sister anywhere. Oh god she couldn't lose her sister after her parents. She ran into the house before stopping dead. "What the hell happened here?" Audelia breathed out. Things were broken and thrown all over the place. A rustle behind made her spin around, drawing her dagger from her leg holster.
"Who's there?" She called out. Another rustle and Audelia took a step toward the sound. "I know you're there so you may as well come out." She called out in a strong voice. Just as she was about to take another step forward, a tall figure came out of the dark woods which surrounded their house. "Hello Audelia." said the figure in a deep husky voice which sent shivers down Audelia's spine. "Who the hell are you and why do you know my name?" She scowled back, glaring at the dark mysterious figure. They took another step into the light causing Audelia to see a guy about her age. He looked like he had been sculpted by a god. The sunlight bounced off his dark hair but what stood out the most was the startling piercing green eyes. Audelia inhaled sharply.
The guy smirked a little from Audelia's reaction. "See you may not know me and you sure haven't noticed me following you around all morning but you have something of mine that was taken from me and I want it back," He spoke with confidence. A confused look washed over Audelia. "I don't have anything of yours, I don't even know who you are! She said back, exacerbated. Silence fell and they stood there staring at each other. A loud voice broke the silence and tore their gazes from their eyes.
"Deli!! Where the hell are you?" a shrill voice called out, progressively getting closer. Audelia turned to see a pale girl as she came around the side of the house. Her platinum blonde hair swished around her shoulders as she walked.
"Sephina, I wasn't aware you were coming today?" Audelia said, nervous for the question about the random boy behind her but it never came. "Yes well I had nothing else to do so I thought why not pay my bestie a visit. Anyway, what are you doing out here by yourself? Also what happened to your house? It looks like a stampede went through there!" Sephina laughed slightly. Confused about why Sephina didn't ask about the mystery guy, Audelia turned around to address him only to find he had disappeared as silently as he had shown.
