The Dark Hero (Mao Mao AU)

(Part 1) The Dark Hero

Sounds of people screaming and stuff breaking can be heard in a village where currently there are bandits raiding the villagers.

One of the bandits was currently chasing after a villager only to be punched in the face.

When the bandit recovered from the blow it look at the one who hit it.

To see a black cat wearing grey clothes followed by a white mask concealing its face with green eyes glaring right back.

"Who are you?" The bandit spoke In a threatening tone with his eyes narrowed.

The cat remain silent which irritated him so with a yell he swung his sword at the cat.

To only be parried with a golden katana and punched in the stomach making him drop his sword.

Than the cat side sweeps his legs to make him fall down and punched him several times.

The cat stops after seeing him unconscious the cat than runs with its katana ready to fight the remaining bandits.

Later...

All of the remaining bandits were knocked unconscious and the villagers looks around to only see the cat currently punching the last bandit into unconsciousness.

As the village elder cautiously walks towards the cat.

"Thank you sir for saving our village and we would like to thank you by giving you a rewa-" before the elder could continue.

"I don't need any reward... your words is all the reward i need" he cut him off in a low gruff voice.

"Oh... than atleast take some supplies for your journey" he spoke with a knowing look in his eyes.

The Cat turned towards him.

"How did you?" He spoke in a mild surprise tone.

"How i know your a adventurer" he spoke with a smile.

"I know an adventurer when i see one and you are the same as the rest of them" he continued with a more upbeat tone.

"Thank you" he spoke turning his gaze away from the elder.

"Can i atleast know your name sir?" He spoke in a polite tone.

"My name is... Mao Mao" he spoke with hesitation and a hint of anger in his tone.

Elsewhere

At the entrance of the cave a small blue bat wearing a helmet strapped with a torchlight.

The bat than flap its wings into the cave and started to explore.

The bat eventually came upon a chuck of crystal softly glowing from the light of the torchlight.

With a joyful smile the bat quickly exits the cave and started to fly towards a kingdom with a giant heart shaped crystal.

As the bat eventually reached its destination it than landed on a anvil.

"Badgerclops! I found the shiny rocks you were looking for!" She yelled with a high pitch voice.

A door opened near the bat and out came a white badger with brown parts and wearing a black apron followed with a eyepatch.

"Oh thanks adorabat those crystals are harder to find... and also i don't like to walk alot just to search for possible crystals in the caves". He spoke in a thankful voice.

"No problem badgerclops" She spoke with a bright smile.

Badgerclops than walks towards the side of the building and comes across a garage.
