AU where young mao was betrayed by bao bao which causes his suppressed memories to resurface from his years of mockery and humilation from both his father and sisters filling him with hatred towards them including bao bao, so with that hatred cut so deep into his heart he resumes his path to become a legendary hero not to impress his family but to show that he is better than any of them even if it means to use cheap tricks or underhanded tactics to achieve it. Orangusnake gets his wish that Mao Mao would be gone forever when he catches him off-guard in order to humiliatingly punch him down a waterfall. With everyone believing that Mao Mao is dead (or beaten forever) soon enough, Orangusnake is able to steal the Ruby Pure Heart, but the cheap-shot of his victory begins to make him feel guilty, and Mao Mao is secretly very much alive.

This is a collection of short stories that feature Mao Mao and his friends in Pure Heart Valley. There isn't really any flow or overarching plot, it's just a bunch of narratives. I publish new chapters each Saturday, so expect something new at the end of each week. (P.S, the songs in the chapters are just my own taste in music. Hope you guys don't mind!) I don't own Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart or any of their characters, this is just my fan fiction.

Bounty hunter Tanya keys is living her average life catching criminals. When Tanya returns to jail to check the available bounties, she notices that two of them pique her interest, Rufus and Reggie. Tanya heads to pure heart valley to find the criminals, where she reunites with Mao Mao, Adorabat, and Badgerclops, who agree to help her find them.
