8. No escaping desire

A/N: we are almost at the end of this short story my friends , after this one i am going to write something other than a miraculous fan fiction , but at the beginning of august i will start my new miraculous fan fiction , i'm really excited about it !!!

3rd Person POV:

mari wakes up , head pounding from the hangover , lazy to get out of bed .

she feels Adriens warm body structure under hers , slightly rising up and down , she lets out a breathe of relief when she realizes they're both still wearing clothes .

she was completely out of it , she vaguely remembers some of what happened last night in the closet and mentally freaks out , sure they were both completely out of it but what if he blames her and says it was a huge mistake.

as the worries of later flutter her mind she gets up and sits at the edge of the bed when alya comes in the room "what happened last night" mari asks through a tired groan .

"well first off here's some water and an aspirin for your hang over , secondly . You two played seven minutes in heaven and sinned for 6" she smiles handing mari the water to swallow the pill .

"huh?" she confusingly asks with all the noise in her ear . suddenly adrien rolls around to them and wakes up groaning and rubbing his eyes .

"oh great you're up too , i'm explaining what happened last night between you and my best friend , Nino will be back in a little with your aspirin and water" alya pats his foot as he listens to the story .

"so you went in the closet , technically i don't know exactly what happened but you two came out glossy eyed , clothes tampered, hair messy and lips swollen" she gets up to grab a hair tie .

"shit" they both cursed under their breathes and immediately looked at each other. he slightly smiled looking at her up and down as she flushed from the embarrassment.

"might have to try that sober sometime" he smirks and she smirks back while hitting him with a pillow .

"here you go mr agreste" Nino bows while handing adrien his pill and water , he laughs "thank you kind sir" he bows back while holding his head in pain .

"why are you two up so early anyways" adrien asks ,
"it's 2pm" alya answers, "oh!" they both say and instantly get up to change .

"hey please can you two go down stairs , we forgot to bring ice , we ordered some room service for all of us" Nino tells them , they agree .

mari throws on some black mom shorts , a t shirt that read "may we meet again" on the front , and her white sneakers.

Adrien put on the same t shirt without knowing and stayed in his black sweats .

they walked out the door feeling the cold breeze , as they got in the elevator awkwardly .

"hey we're wearing the same shirt" she notices , "oh yeah" he laughs , as they both flush at the thought of what they had done , and what they remembered.

"shit" Adrien cussed which again turned her on , "what?" she asked, "the elevator stopped moving and door isn't opening" he worries .

"relax it's only been a couple of seconds, just give it a nudge" she clicks on more buttons .

suddenly the wait became longer and longer , it was around 5 minutes and the door still hasn't opened . "can we panic now?" he asks , "yeah" she starts sweating .

"k i'll just call the emergency button" he picked up the phone on the elevator and called .
he told them what was going on , they couldn't help until 2 hours because of how far the fire department was .

the phone lady suggested many things but nothing worked . "okay thank you" he sighed hanging up the phone , "what'd they say" mari worried .

"it may be a while till the fire department comes , so we are stuck in here until then and we are in between the 3rd and 2nd floor" Adrien tells her which immediately causes her to spiral and panic .

"hey hey , just breathe it's going to be fine" he calms her down and grabs her hand .

she quickly calms down from his touch . they lean against the wall of the elevator waiting "hey why don't you call alya or nino" mari suggests .

"i left my phone too" he sighs , "great now they're going to think we snuck off somewhere to devour each other" she says dramatically chuckling

"would that be so bad? , we could make them think it , tell them it was crazy and we can't even walk" he laughed and smirked .

they laughed it off , "so hey about last night , i don't want you to worry-" mari cuts him off , "why would i worry" she wonders .

"well why wouldn't you worry?" Adrien trembles , "because i trust you" she beams at him ,  "i trust you two" he smiles . "i meant what i said earlier though" he smirked and looked at what felt like her soul

"what? that we'd have to try that sober some time ?" she chuckles and leans in closer to him .
"why not? , there's no escape from here , or from me" he chuckles

it felt like they were suffocating in the tight space as it became hotter and sweatier , the tension couldn't be held anymore .

they both leaned in closer and closer until their faces were just centimeters apart , maris body trembling from her heart beating in multiple places . the two closed their eyes and leaned forward .

gently their lips met with such great angst , there was no escaping desire and lust . It took over them like a bolt of light and energy .

the two pulled away smiling slightly , adrien licked his lips and they looked at each other for a light moment when suddenly they felt the elevator fall slightly and the door open to the second floor .

"shit there you guys are !!" alya caught mari in a hug , "we were so worried about you two" Nino said as mari and adrien awkwardly stood there red as ever .

"we umm , we thought it was going to be a 2 hour wait" Adrien told the officer at the entrance of the elevator . "oh yeah well we were close by and thought we'd help" he said .

"well thank you" adrien and mari both stuttered , week in the knees from their moment .

"you're telling me everything later" alya whispered in her ear and they all walked off and back to their room to eat and continue their fourth day at the resort on their senior trip.
