Axel's pov

She blacked out. I don't know what was in her drink but obviously it wasn't good. My guards came over. "Bring the car up were taking her to the house." I said and they walked out. I picked her up bridal style and carried her out.

The driver opened the door and I sat her up in the car I then got in and my body guard got in the front. The other followed in the car behind us.

When we reached the house I got put a picked her up. I carried her inside to my room. She was light so it was easy to carry her. I laid her down and pulled the blanket over her.

I went downstairs. "Sir. Sorry to interrupt but we have her bag." I took the bag and went back upstairs. I set it on the nightstand. I moved the hair out of her face slightly and went back down.

I wound up sleeping in the guest bedroom because she was in my bed.

When I woke up in the morning I grabbed a cup of water from the kitchen and some aspirin for Aria. I only had one drink. I didn't even finish it because she passed out. I walked up and put it on the nightstand beside her. I moved her bag to the dresser.

"Aria." I slightly shook her arm. She started to wake. She sat up. "Woah. Calm down." She looked at me.

"Where am I and what happened?" I picked up the water and aspirin. "Here take this. It'll help with your headache."

She took the pill and drank the water. "You blacked out last night. What's the last thing you remember?" She handed me the water and I put it down.

"Um. You said my name." Okay I can work with that. "Okay. Well you slept here for the night. That's all that really happened after that."

I walked over to the dresser and grabbed her bag. "Here." I handed it to her. "Thank you." She said.

"Well I guess you can have my driver drive you to the club to get your car." She nodded and stood up. "Um thank you for last night. For helping me." She said.

"I couldn't just leave you passed out on the floor. Although I did think about it." She scoffed and walked out. I looked out the window of my office and saw her get into the car and the driver drive off.

I sat down and did some work. Then I had a meeting with some Italy men that I'm trying to work with so I had to go the office for the meeting. It was virtual.

"So Axel what's this proposal?" One of the men asked me. "I'm glad you asked. So you need the weapons for the war that's going on in Italy right now and my company can help you."

We specialize in all different things. "Were willing to offer you 10,000 guns for a price of $15,000." I said turning to the next slide. "Well what makes us pay five thousand more for 5,000 less guns." I smirked. "That's the thing. I throw in 4,000 ammo with the guns. The extra thousand is for the shipping and making sure I can pay my workers and for new products for us to still sell and trade and everthing." I said.

"We'll think about it and get back to you." One of the guys said. "Okay but my deals only on the table for a little while. I have Scotland who is more than happy to pay me $20,000 for everything I'm offering you. Think you can top that?" I leaned back in my chair.

"We'll offer you $25,000 for all of it." Perfect. I sat up straight "Okay well I'll have a contract emailed over and we can finalize everything. Pleasure doing business with you. And hopefully we can do more in the future." We all left the meeting.

I leaned back in my chair. "So Italy." I looked up and saw Aria. "Aria. What are you doing here?" I stood up and walked over to get some whiskey I had on a cart.
"Want some?" I asked.

"Yes please." I poured her a glass. "So to what do I owe this visit?" I handed her the glass and she sat down. "Well I don't know exactly." She said.

"Well don't get me wrong I'm flattered but you didn't seem so happy this morning." She scoffed. "You said you thought about leaving me passed on the floor of a bar." I laughed. "Not funny." She said.

"How can I help you Aria?" I wasn't mad or upset to see her but this is my company. "Um. Well it's all fuzzy. I can't tell you why exactly. Don't even think I know the answer." She said tapping her finger with the ring against the glass she was holding.

"Well maybe you should think about it and let me take you to dinner. Tonight." I said.

"Like a date?" She asked.

"Yes Aria a date." I said she put the glass down. "Okay fine." She took a piece a paper off the desk. It was plain paper. She wrote something.

"Pick me up 8 o'clock. Don't be late. I don't give second chances." She stood up and walked out. I grabbed the paper to see she wrote her address.

I opened my computer and looked through some emails. I opened one that looked rather curious.

Dear Mr.Campbell

I'm writing this email to warn you. Don't trust Aria Cooper. I can't tell you why but trust me she is dangerous and you don't want to be involved with her.

Anonymous

That's weird. What makes Aria dangerous? I'll talk to her tonight.

I worked on some more paperwork and answered some more emails and had a business call.

It was around six when I left the office. I went to the house and decided to shower. Mostly just to calm down. Work has been so fucking hard.

And then there's the fame, the paparazzi, the interviews. I mean yes I started a company. Yes I make billions of dollars. But it's not all that. There's actual work that I do.

And people don't seem to see that. I finished showering and changed into a suit.

Now I see why Kenneth says that's all I wear. Kenneth is my bestfriend and he's currently in Asia. He loves to travel the world and personally I would rather settle down and work.

I mean yes I'm only 23 years old. But still I'm thinking about long term. Kenneth is a here and now person. Sometimes I find it hard to believe we're best friends. I went on my computer and went over some contracts until 7:30. I started to head over to Aria's address she gave me.
