Annual Pack Meeting

Previously on The Wolf and The Vampire:

Chase was instructed to follow every step that Bree took. He followed her and even landed in detention to keep an eye on her. Jayden and Ryder inspected Bree's mysterious sabotaged car. Once getting home Mr Anderson asked Chase what information he had gathered. After hearing that Bree's surname was Harper he turned pale.

"Clearly the name rings a bell." Noah stated.

"Only question is, why?"

Now: Chapter 5: Annual Pack Meeting

It's finally Friday. Only one week has gone but yet it feels like we've been in school for a whole semester.

"Honey! Are you up?!" Mom yelled for me.

"Yes mom!" I yelled back as I rolled around, getting off my bed.

Hey at least it's weekend once today is completed. Noah sighed.

Can't wait for today to be over. I said.

I got up, went to the bathroom, changed, ate breakfast and left.

"See you later mom! Bye dad!" I greeted as I exited the house.

I drove to school and parked my car.

"Chase! Over here!" A high pitch scream pierced my ears. I ignored it knowing exactly who the voice belonged to.

"Don't ignore me!" She yelled.

I walked into the building and went straight to my first class.

Oh great. Math first. I looked at my schedule. Guess my brain isn't gonna have time to wake up today.

I walked into class and to my surprise it was a whole party in there. Instant regret. My ears got flooded from all the noise that came through the second I opened the door. What was even worse was what I saw. All the seniors from the other two classes were here. I scanned the room until it landed on a group of people. Ryder, Katie, Bree.

Where's Jay? I thought.

"Teacher's absent so we had a free period. Then they called the others, somehow managed to keep the other teachers away. Don't ask how." A voice crept up on me.

"Where'd you come from?" I asked.

"Bathroom." He responded.

"Yo," Jay lowered his voice to a whisper. "The APM is tonight right?"

"Yup meetings happening tonight." I replied. "Why?" I question.

"Just being sure. Something's been off at home, not sure what yet but I will find out." Jay responded.

"Yo! Jay! Chase!" Ryder called out.

Jayden and I walked past herds of students towards Ryder, Bree and Katie.

"Morning!" Katie greeted.

"Hi." I greeted back.

"This is epic." Jayden said as he sat down on a desk and laid his head on his hands, putting his feet up on the desk in front.

"So guys, Friday. What's everyone's plans?" Ryder started a conversation.

"Detention." I bluntly replied.

Ryder laughed.

"Not much plans to be honest." Jay responded.

"I was just going to relax and watch a movie with some snacks." Katie stated.
