Chapter 6

I passed one year journey from a reader to writer recently.This journey is memorable.Thank you for supporting me and reading my stories.

Two weeks have passed since then.

The apartment they share together is bearing testimony of their living in silence.

Beam doesn’t want to talk.
Forth doesn’t know what to talk about.

Some marriages are like this.Two souls living under the same roof,staying beside each other in the same bed years after years can't touch each others' soul.

"Dude..."

Forth was typing.He put off his glass and wipe his sweats..He is in stress since morning,didn’t eat much.They have a big project going on.

Phana brings a burger for Forth too before coming..He couldn’t even eat well.

"I already ask for two coffee for us."

Forth nods to show gratitude.His headache is coming back.

"Are you done yet?"Phana took seat.

"Almost ready..I will print out this document.Later send you to check."

"Alright..Ahemm..What do you decide about extra work?"

"I got the money from the job you suggested. "

"No..I am asking you about any other job you have in mind.."

Forth looks at him puzzled.

"I don’t get you.."

I am thinking of offering you a part-time job..Salary won't be much at the beginning but once the establishment settled I am sure we will have profit soon."

"You mean.."

"Kitty's restaurant.. "

"Haha haha... And what! Cooking for your fiesty husband who will kill me in this process if I put sugar in stead of salt!Or serving Beam is not enough!Now I have to serve everyone!"

Phana smacks his head!

"You will be in charge of cash..It will be great help for kitty.My Kitty has a small head he can't look after every section alone."

"Don’t tell that in front of him.He will grill your entire giraffe body.."

"Before that I have to save my head first..He will chew it."

"What if I steal some money from account section."

"You won't.You don’t have potentiality to steal..You are that worse.."

"Hahahaha "

"Stealing is art you know..and you are a disgrace"

"My dream!" Wayo squeals..

"And you know I will fulfil your every dream." Ming kisses on his cheek and looks at him adorably.

Beam knows they won't stop anytime soon.

"Ming...Please please please I can't wait..Next year you will take me..Ok..." Wayo uses his cute spoiled tone.

"Of course baby..I will talk to Jirakit.He went to Sakura festival last year.."

"What is that?"

"You never heard of Sakura festival?"

"I heard but don’t have knowledge."

"People gather to enjoy cherry blossom.I wanted to go there for our honeymoon but timing didn’t match so we had to enjoy Maldives in stead.."

"Hey Maldives is awesome.."

"Yeah.I love it but sea is more of a Ming thing."

"I love sea."

"anyway you won't back out,will you?'' Wayo glares at Ming.

"No way..My cute husband wants my cute husband gets.."

"I will have diabetes soon so stop pouring more sugar."

"Tell your husband to come and be lovey dovey...Where is your mighty husband by the way?"

Beam shrugs in mind..but he needs to keep his image on.

"Recently they have some project on and you know he is the manager."

"Ah!Busy man!I can understand your feelings..When my man was busy with project I had to keep myself busy with online shopping."

"But I already made up all those lost days.."

"Still I want more love."

If Beam could throw up he would.

"Don't worry Beamiiee..We will give you company till your husband is back,right baby?"

Ming kisses Wayo's hand..

"Mention not.." Ming grins.

Beam couldn’t take it so he left to wash his finished coffee mug.

'I don’t know Beam's favorite colour.He never mentioned.

Should I ask this sells girl? '

"Excuse me!Can you tell me which colour is popular right now?"

The girl smiled dazzlingly.

Not every day you can feast on a handsome guy.

"Sir please come to this section..I will show you exclusive colours for you to choose.."

"Are you making fun of me?!!"

"You wanted this brand!"

"Of course I wanted this brand!But at first I will remind you why!I needed this shoe for my clients' wedding which already done last week.Do you think I need this now??" Beam face is rigid and Forth can feel coldness oozing out.

"I..didn’t know.."

"Didn’t know or not interested?"

"Beam I couldn’t manage the money.."

"And where does the money come from now?"

"I did proofreading job."

Beam didn’t say anything and leave him.With the shoe box in hand Forth started to think what to do with it.

Beam returns again and grab the box and leave.

Forth feels happy Beam did take his gift.

Forth is lucky to have friends like Pha Kitty.
