*BRIIIIIIIIIIING*
The bell rang throughout the detention classroom. Loki scrunched up her face. She hated loud noises.
Glancing over at Ryxnjc's notebook, she saw that after question 3 she had given up and just started drawing. What the drawings were she couldn't tell - some sort of furry outfit it seems. Ryxnjc was already wearing a bunny mask to school, it would be interesting if she started wearing a whole suit too.
"Ahhh, finally over, huh." Ryxnjc sighed.
Yeah, like you were working hard. Loki nodded in agreement and started collecting her things.
"Wait, we can just leave?" Ryxnjc inquired. "I mean, it's my first time getting detention I'm not used to it. I'd tell you what I got detention for but they made me sign something saying it's confidential."
Loki decided not to ask about that as she checked her phone. Great, her friend was still waiting outside.
"So teach, can we go?" Ryxnjc asked the teacher. No response.
"Um, I'm pretty sure he's asleep. He's going through a divorce right now and doesn't get much sleep on the sofa." Loki told her.
"What the... how do you know this."
"Just... heard it." Loki wasn't about to reveal her sources.
"So why did you get detention anyway Loki? I thought you were a square."
Loki frowned. Ryxnjc clearly didn't know Loki's secret side. "Handing in homework late" Loki lied. Pulling an unimpressed face Ryxnjc turned her attention to the sleeping teacher. As she was leaving the classroom she noticed Ryxnjc making her way towards the teacher cautiously, with scissors in hand. Yep. Just gonna ignore that.
Outside was already dark, but Loki could see the the light from her friend's phone screen illuminating her face, waiting by the gate.
"Hey Jess!" Loki called out, hurrying her pace. Then, suddenly
"STOOOOOOOOOOOP!!" Jess shouted at the top of her lungs. Loki screeched to a halt.
"W-what is it?"
"It's Ivan, he's out here somewhere. I caught a glimpse of him earlier and I'm pretty sure he's still here" Jess's eyes darted from side to side searching the darkness surrounding the schoolyard.
"But how are we gonna get our Boba now?" Loki wailed.
"Loki this is your fault for getting caught and having to wait in detention. You know Ivan only comes out after dark"
Loki was about to explain how she was betrayed, but before she could explain to Jess she saw a figure move behind the gate.
"JESS! BEHIND YOU!"
Jess whipped around quick as a flash, and punched the suspicious figure in the face.
"Aaahh... Ow! What the hell was that for? My dad's a pirate you bitch."
Yep, that was Ivan alright.
"Shut up Ivan we know what you did last week to Achilles. We are not taking our chances."
Ivan glared at Jess. "All I did was call her an idiot. It's not my fault the teachers call that ableist"
As Loki followed Jess out the school, she spat on Ivan as he was starting to stand up. Why? Cause Loki is a bad bitch. (this is not cringe)(I love you Ivan)
