Fate or Coincidence?

PART 19 : Engagement

Raavi : Voh.. Voh

Vishal : Meri fiancée Shreya ki dost hain Raavi. Toh hum sab pehle mil chuke the.

Ahaan : I believe this is fate. Right Raavi?

Raavi : Hmm

Raavi doesn't look at Shiva. She looks down. Shiva is not able to take his eyes from Raavi.

Krish : Ghoorna bandh kar Shiva. Ahaan ki fiancée hain. Mat dekh uss taraf.

Shiva looks down. He starts leaving from there. Ahaan holds his hand.

Ahaan : Kahan ja raha hain? Ring ceremony toh dekh.

Shiva stands there silently. Ahaan takes out the ring and holds Raavi's hands. He tries to put the ring but its too tight for her. He pushes little due to which her finger gets hurt.

Shiva : Ahaan kya kar raha hain. Lag gai na(angrily)

Ahaan looks at him confused.

Nishant : Iska matlab hain. Bhabhi ko lag jaayegi. Dhyaan se kar.

Raavi looks at Shiva hurtfully.

Ahaan : Sorry Raavi pata nahi par kaise choti ho gai ring.

Anita : Ab kya kare? Itni jaldi ring kaha se laayenge?

Shiva takes out a ring from his pocket and passes it to Ahaan. Ahaan looks at him confused.

Shiva : Yeh try karke dekh.

Hardik whispers in Shiva's ears.

Hardik : Yeh ring tune abhi tak apne pass rakhi thi. Bola tha na fek de.

Shiva ignores him.

Ahaan takes Raavi's hand and makes her wear the ring. It fits Raavi perfectly as it was just made for her.

Ahaan : Aisa lag raha hain jaise iss ring par sirf tumhara hakk hain. Haina Shiva?

Shiva : Haan sirf uska hakk hain.

Shiva looks at Raavi emotionally. This time even Raavi looks at him. Their eyes finally meet. It felt as if it wanted to speak so much.

Rishita : Raavi yeh le ab tu bhi pehna de.

Raavi's hands starts trembling. She slowly takes a step ahead and is about to make him wear the ring when light goes off.

Everyone : Oh no.

Raavi(in mind): Yeh acha mauka hain abhi hi pehna deti hoon. Shiva ke saamne nahi pehna paungi.

Raavi holds his hand and makes him wear the ring. She sighs when light comes on. Raavi is shocked to see Shiva standing infront of him. All looks at them shocked. Shiva looks at her. Raavi starts going backwards. Tears starts falling from her eyes.

Ahaan laughs.

Ahaan : Its okay Raavi. Mein lights check karne gaya tha. Tumhe laga hoga mein hoon aur tumne ring pehna di. Rone ki koi zaroorat nahi hain.

Ahaan comes to her and wipes her tears with handkerchief.

Shiva : Sorry Bhai. Ek min ring deta hoon.

Shiva tries to remove his ring but it doesn't come out.

Shiva : Ek min. Waiter garam paani laana.

He dips his hand in water and tries to remove it but in vain.

Dev : Shiva lag jaayegi.

Shiva doesn't listen. He applies more force in anger. When Ahaan holds his hand.

Ahaan : Shiva lag jaayegi rehne de. Mere pass meri dusri anguthi hain.

Shiva : Ahaan issue par tera hakk hain mera nahi.

Ahaan : Shayad nahi. Mera matlab hain mere naseeb mein dusri anguthi hogi.

Rishita : Ahaan, mere pass mere pappa ki ek ring hain. Yeh try karlo.

Rishita passes the ring to Raavi. Raavi puts it in Ahaan's finger.

Ahaan: Perfect.

Ahaan smiles. Shiva looks at ring and then at Raavi. Raavi looks away.

Ahaan : Vese Shiva mein puch sakta hoon yeh ladki ki ring tere pass kya kar rahi thi?.

Shiva : Kisi special person ke liye li thi.

Ahaan : Voh ladki ke liye jo tu mujhe bata raha tha?

Shiva : Haan.

Shiva looks at Raavi. Raavi thinks he must have taken for Janvi. Shiva leaves from there and goes out and cries.

Shiva : Baar baar mere saamne aa hi jaati hain yeh ladki. Kitni mushkil se bhulne ki koshish ki thi aur vapas aa gai. Bahot sawal hain uske liye. Mein puchke rahunga usse.

Dev keeps his hand on Shiva's shoulder.

Dev : Shiva mein sirf itna bolunga kuch bhi karne se pehle Ahaan ke baare mein soch lena. Aur Raavi khud apni marzi se tujhe chod kar gai thi.

Krish : Aur iss shaadi ke liye bhi usne khud haan bola hain.

Nishant : Ahaan ko hi dekh le kitna khush hain.

Hardik : Jis ring se tu Raavi ko propose karne wala tha vohi ring tune Ahaan ko dedi pehnane ke liye.

Shiva hugs them and cries.

Shiva : Mein usse nahi bhul pata. Par ab Ahaan ke aur uske beech nahi aaunga.

All nod and hug him.

Shiva : Mein aata hoon.

Shiva goes and calls up Shweta informing her that Raavi is in Delhi and is getting married.

Shweta : Mein next flight lekar aa rahi hoon Delhi.

Shiva nods. He decides to go to pool side for some alone time.

On the other hand everyone are busy clicking pictures in the hall. Raavi feels uncomfortable and leaves. Rishita sees that and goes behind her but twists her leg due to heels and winces in pain.

Rishita : Ouch

Ahaan notices that. He goes to her and helps her to stand.

Rishita : Its okay Ahaan. Mein kar lungi

Ahaan : Let me help please.

He makes her sit near a sofa. He orders a glass of water and give it to her.

Ahaan : Vese tumhara pappa ki ring bahot achi hain.

Rishita : Haan mummy ne pappa ko propose kiya tha tab pappa salsa sikhate the aur mom unki student thi. Mein toh aaj tak nahi sikh paayi salsa. Par kabhi na kabhi zaroor sikhungi.

Ahaan : If You Don't mind mein tumhe sikha sakta hoon. I am a really good salsa dancer.

Rishita : What! Really?  Ofcourse.

Ahaan : Theek hain tum mujhe apna number dedo. Mein tumhe call karunga.

Both exchange their number and have a warm conversation.

On the other hand. Shiva is standing near a tree remembering last night incident where he hugged Raavi.

Shiva : Voh Raavi hi thi. Shiva bas kar kitna sochega uske baare mein. Mat soch.

Shiva shuts his eyes. After a while when he opens he sees Raavi walking by pool side lost in her thoughts. She was looking so beautiful. Only Shiva knew how he was controlling himself.
He turned to leave when

Splash!

He saw Raavi falling in pool and trying to come out. He without a thought jumped into the pool and held her hand and pulled her to him. Raavi held into his kurta in fear. When she opened her eyes she saw him. Shiva slowly slided his hand across her bare waist and picked her up in his arms. Raavi gulped down in nervousness. He made her lie on the bench and was about to leave when his bracelet got stuck in hers bracelet.
He sits down to remove it when he realise its the same bracelet which he had gifted her. He looked at her shocked. Raavi shivered. She hurriedly removed the bracelet and left. Shiva stood there shocked.
