Tae Oh almost spits out his water as he looks at her stuff she brings inside the office then tosses all of them underneath the table.
"Eun Ha, are you going to move here? Where did you get that sleeping bag?"
She sheepishly smiles as she kicks the stuff to the back of the table. "It's my younger brother's."
"We're just going to spend a night or two here, Eun Ha. Not the whole week."
"I know, I just need to keep my legs warm." she pats the thick material with her feet then gets back again to work.
It's always like this when it comes to the last day of the month. The tight deadline makes everyone put their effort even more. She already gets used to the idea of going home late and even sleeping at the office. To be honest, she enjoys her routine and her work more. Maybe that's why when people say that if you work what you love, you won't feel like working at all.
Their manager walks into the room with her assistant at the back, holding two piles of paper in both his hands. Just like everyone knows in the area, they immediately makes some space for another pile of work.
"It's five more days before the last day of the month everyone. You all know what to do, okay?"
"Yes, Ma'am." everyone says in unison.
When her assistant dropped the files on top of the desk, some of them went to the paper and separated the papers equally.
'I shouldn't say that I love my work too much next time. It's going to take all night.' she thinks at the sight of her messy paper works on her desk.
The time shows it's almost 8 PM and she starts to feel hungry. Just when she is about to take some snack on her desk, her phone beeps signaling a new message.
[7:55 PM] Jung Jae Hyun : I'm in front of your building. Can you come down?
She blinks in confusion at his message. She surely already told him that she can't go anywhere today.
"Sunbae, I'm going down for a while."
Tae Oh quickly nods as his eyes don't leave his computer screen which she sighs in relief that she can escape from his curiosity.
As she reaches the main lobby of the building, she can see Jae Hyun's back facing her. When she's outside, she can finally feel the chill of the wind of the autumn season.
"Jae Hyun," she calls, making him turn around. He is already wearing his long coat due to the chill wind. "What brings you here?"
"Here." he hands her the paper bag that he is holding.
Tilting her head, she accepts the bag and asks. "What is it?"
"I got you something to eat."
Her eyes widen in delight as she takes a peek on what's inside. "Wow, Jung Jae Hyun." she chuckles at the sight of her favorite sandwich package and chocolate drink with a full whipped cream on it inside. "This is my favorite. Thank you so much."
