The Rules

We made it to the main campfire just in time. Zeke and Sylvia brought all their campers over to the bench that said "Cabin #3."Just as we all sat down Tom started speaking. "Welcome to Camp Krispies! I have printed out all the camp rules and my assistant Ester will be passing them out." The women next to Tom raised her hand and said "Hi, I'm Ester!" Sylvia watched as Ester went around the camp handing out the rules. Ester eventually made it to their group. While handing out the rules to our group Ester wouldn't stop staring at Phil. Sylvia, Zeke, and Phil all noticed. Sylvia held Phil closer, Zeke just stared at Ester, and Phil just started crying. "What the heck Ester!" Sylvia spoke up a couple other groups around them noticed too. Just as Sylvia went to get up and yell at Ester more Zeke put his hand in front of Sylvia and Phil. "She's not worth our time." Zeke whispered so only Sylvia could hear. Sylvia realized he was right and nodded in agreement. Ester rolled her eyes and walked away to give out the rest of the papers. "What the heck are these rules?!" Lili spoke up suddenly "Yeah" One of the other girls from Sylvia's cabin spoke up. Sylvia and Zeke both looked down at the rules. (which said the following)

Camp Krispies Rules

1.Must listen to all counselors

2.Whatever you lose at camp is your responsibility

3.Do NOT leave camp property (without counselors or permission)

4.Lights off in all cabins by eleven pm

5.ABSOLOUTLY NO leaving the cabins after eleven pm

6.have fun.

"Rules four and five are dumb" Sylvia says and Phil giggles at that "Yeah but its almost eleven and we don't want to get in trouble on the first night." Zeke said We all agreed so I picked up Phil once more as we waked to our cabin. After about a two minute walk to our cabin Sylvia made sure the three youngest children got ready for bed. She then got herself really for bed by washing her face, brushing her teeth, and changing into her pajamas. When we went to check on all the kids before bed she saw that the two young girls were already sleeping right beside each other. Phil on the other hand was sitting on is bed playing with his stuffed animals. Sylvia went and sat at the edge of Phil's bed. As soon as she sat down the sound of thunder crept through the windows. Phil jumped at the sudden noise level. "C-can I sleep with you Sylvia?" Phil asked quietly not to wake up the other campers. Sylvia nodded understanding it was probably scary being the youngest. Phil grabbed his blanket and followed Sylvia into the back room. Lili was asleep in her bed but Zeke was still awake reading his book. Before they made it to her bed Sylvia turned off the lights and laid in her bed. Phil needed a little help but he made it onto the bed. After a couple minutes Phil had fallen asleep. Right before Sylvia closed her eyes she say the lamp turn off and heard Zeke say "Goodnight guys."
