I never imagined ever leaving South City. When my mom remarried, her and my step dad decided we needed a fresh start, which means I am moving two hours away from my friends to Madison Central High. Leaving is the hardest part because that means a whole lot of " Goodbye, i'll see you soon " when we all know we won't see anyone anytime soon!

When we arrived I stared at the big brick, two story house. I have never had anything other than a double wide trailer. Going into my new room, I notice a nice sized bedroom with a bathroom connected to it. In the room my eyes immediately meet the bay window. Since I was a little kid and I was watching a tv show with a bay window, I've always wanted one.

The night before my first day of school, I started to decorate my room when my mom came in and asked me if I was nervous for my first day at a new school. I told her yes, but that I am glad I am a senior so I just have a year. My mom did not seem very thrilled with my answer, but I wasn't thrilled with the decision of moving me two hours away from my friends on my senior year.
