Journey Over There

Chapter 1 & 2 :)

Author note: HEY GUYS IM MAX AND THIS IS A THE FIRST BOOK IM EVER GOING TO MAKE!! And I how you like this story!! :D

Chapter 1: beginning

The daughter named Kat remembers her father from looking at an old photo in her mother's room. She goes to her mother named Maya which she doesn't really pay attention to her children and mainly drinks. Kat goes to the kitchen and asks her mother who this man is. The mother ignores her and looks away from her. So Kat goes to her brother Zack. Kat Asks ands hands the photo to Zack "Zack do you know this man? I always see this photo in mom's room and I don't really know who he is." Zack replies, "I don't really know who he is."
Zack hands back the photo to Kat. Kat then checks around the photo to see who he is. Kat stares at the back of the photo and and sees an address of where he is and his name (Daniel). Kat goes running to her brother and "ZACK THIS IS WHERE HE LIVES!!" Kat said shouting and pointing at the back of the photo. "oh wow! Maybe this is our dad or something." Zack says. "YEAH AND WE NEED TO LOOK FOR HIM!" Kat said yelling. Zack said; "No we can't look for him mom will hunt us down and we will be in big trouble if she finds out if we leave the place." Kat how ever thought of a plan.
"Pack your bags, we are leaving...tonight." Kat said in a low, hushed voice. The Twins (Kat and Zack) went to their rooms and started packing their stuff in their backpacks. Kat packs food,
Drinks, bottle caps , a book , and her weapon which is a Baseball Bat ,while Zack a binoculars, clothing and matches and his bow and arrows. "Maybe it will be better to live with our "dad" then here because there is more creatures out here." Kat said softly.

Time in story: 11:27

Kat goes to check if her mother is asleep. She enters the mother's room and she is in a deep sleep. Kat tells Zack that they are able to get out of the place and go look for the address of the  "father." Kat slowly opens the door out to the opened and Zack follows be hind.
Wondering where they will go next.

Chapter 2: mystery town

The Twins see some light up ahead. Kat tells Zack that there is probably a little town up ahead. They rush to go their before a mutated monster is gets them. Before they where even close to the town a large bug called Afteri (After-ee)
bites Zacks leg, Kat then hits the Afteri with her Baseball Bat on the head and the head goes flying while the Afteri's blood spews out of the head and the body. The Twin then hurry to the town and there is a tall man with a cowboy hat and long mustache so long that it reaches his chin. "Hold on there outsiders." The man said. The Twins stop to look at the man. "You can't be here because it is late at night and you will probably get hurt out here in this terrible landfill. You kids will die out here if you're not careful. Kat then replies, "Sorry sir we need a place to stay and we thought we where able to stay here. The man said "if you want to enter you will need to give me 20 caps if you wanna stay here for tonight, and tomorrow and the following day." Zack then said "don't worry sir, we will just sleep here and maybe buy some equipment for the journey ahead." Zack then pays the man.
"Welcome outsiders, The name is Pete, and if you want to know anything, want to rent a bed, or want to buy some weapons go to Ivy, Connor ,or Stray Susie Mary. But make sure you have enough caps to buy equipment and you can offer for a job to get a couple of caps at Critter-side." Pete says. Pete then hands the twins a 2 melee weapons. "THANKS PETE!" The Twins say and then they enter the town.
