Great. Another month that i'm stuck with everyone in the hype house. Don't get me wrong I do love them all but they are too crazy for me. Especially Alex who keeps trying to get Mr Vinnie Hacker and I to date. I only just joined the house about two months ago and although i get so much love and have gained so many followers, I have also gained a ton of haters and started getting hate because of how close I am getting to Vinnie. Alex always posts him trying to get Vin and I together in every single youtube video he films not even a month after I moved in. I used to be really uncomfortable with the whole situation but after a little while Vinnie started growing on me.
I woke up to Hera's loud meows as she scratched to get out of my room. Why was she even in my room? I checked the time and see it's 8am so I decide it's probably time to get up anyways and make breakfast. The days have been flowing into one another as quarantine makes life living hell. For the past week during the day I've been spending most of my time in my room and I'm always hearing everyone else screaming and talking down in the living room or outside. I'm getting tired of it and feel bad because I need to get back into habit of being around everyone because it's probably a little disrespectful. So with that I sit up and stretch making sure to grab my shirt that's at my legs and put it on. I then get up and go towards the door to open it but Hera takes her time as she runs herself along the door so I just leave it open as I turn around to look around my room. It was a mess and I mean a real mess. Clothes everywhere as well as plates and drink bottles all over. It's a little embarrassing but the only people to ever come up to my room are Alex, Kouvr and Mia and they know how messy I am and don't mind at all. But now it's time I clean everything up.
After about an hour My room is clean enough to my satisfaction and since it is 9am I decide to go make some breakfast. I don't even think many people are up and out of bed anyways because the house is very quiet. As I walk out of my room I shut the door and head down the stairs and to the kitchen. I see Michael in the lounge room with Thomas and I send them a smile there way and they both return one and go back to talking. As i walk further into the Kitchen I do see Mia and a big plate of pancakes.
"hey mia"
"morning loser surprised to see you down here"
I just laugh at her and move towards the stools, taking a seat. "need any help?" She looks up from the pancakes and shakes her head. "no it's fine. I wanted to make pancakes for everyone because it seems no one has woken up and eaten anything. Michael, Thomas and I have been up since 7 waiting for people".
"Oh that's real sweet, can i have some?"
"Obviously y/n you weirdo why wouldn't you get any?" I shake my head at how dumb of a question that was. "sorry" We both look at each other and she starts laughing. I just grab a plate and grab two pancakes. They are fairly big and I am a small person who doesn't eat much so this will fill me up. "do we have an maple syrup?" Mia asks me and I walk over to the fridge to see we do in fact have maple syrup so i pull the big bottle out. "We sure do" I pour syrup over the pancakes and grab a knife and fork to eat them. But before I place a piece in my mouth I hear Meowing from down the hall way in the direction of some of the boys rooms. It's probably Hera trying to get into Vinnies room so after shoving the fork-full into my mouth I stand up and walk down towards the house and yep, Hera is waiting for someone to let her into her room. I don't know if I should open it because that would be very very inappropriate but I don't think it will hurt anyone right? I turn the door knob and open the door slightly to let Hera in and as I go to shut the door I hear Vinnie say something. "Hello?"
Oh shit this is awkward. I open the door and peak my head into the room to see Vinnie sitting up in his bed and stretching. "oh sorry for waking you. Hera was trying to come in" He looks at me and smiles. "Oh hey y/n it's fine. Do you happen to know where she was? I was looking for her last night". Oops I don't even remember letting her into my room. "Oh yeah she was with me. My bad I didn't even realise she was in my room till this morning" He nods and smiles at me. I just awkwardly purse my lips and look at him as he pulls the sheets off to get out of bed. "Oh and Mia made everyone pancakes if your hungry" I start to shut the door before hearing him say something "mmhm thanks" Then I Walk back down the hallway to the kitchen to finish my pancakes.
By the time I finished eating almost everyone was up and Jake comes downstairs. When he sees me he just smiles and walks over embracing me into a hug. "Y/nnn how have you been?" He caught me off guard but I smile at him and nod my head. "I've been great Jake thanks for asking, how have you been?" I turn my head to see Vinnie walk into the kitchen greeting everyone and then going to grab pancakes. "I've been doing great. What have you been up to lately? Haven't seen you which is super funny considering it's lock down and you've been "nowhere to be found" yet your room is literally two doors down" I just smile. I feel like an idiot now and they probably all think it's been rude of me to be up in my room for the past week. "oh yeah sorry. I've been watching netflix and stan this past week I really didn't realise how I haven't come to talk to everyone" He just smiles at me and nods, walking over to the counter and getting some pancakes. I turn back around to wash up my plate but not before realising vinnie was staring at me that whole time. He's been really awkward around me lately which I feel like Is probably Alex's fault.
"Oh and y/n you should come join us in the pull later. After everyone finishes were getting changed and going out to the pool" I look over to Kouvr who's explaining what we are doing today. "Sounds great sure I will join" I go to sit in the lounge room and I scroll on my phone for a while.
Before I know it thirty minutes has passed and Mia walks out of the kitchen and towards the stairs with Thomas. "everyone is getting ready for the pool now" "okie dokie i better get ready" I look up and see everyone has disappeared, I'm guessing to get ready as well. So as Mia and Thomas have now disappeared up the stairs I stand up and Walk into the kitchen, seeing Vinnie walk in at the same time from the other side. "Hey" I look at him awkwardly as I walk to the fridge to get some water. He doesn't respond to me as he goes into the pantry. Yeah something like s definitely up with him. Great I don't know what happened but he better not hate me or be mad at me or whatever. I walk out of the kitchen and as i'm halfway up the stairs I hear someone behind me. I turn and see Vinnie at the bottom of the staircase. "we need to talk about something by the way" What? "wait what? what about?" He starts to walk away but I hear him speak "about us"
