"What do you think is happening?" Red panted, having to try hard to keep up with Goldie.

"I don't know, but I do know that they need our help." Goldilocks said determinedly.

"How are you not scared? We could've just kept on walking and we would be at less risk!" Red insisted.

"But if we were lucky enough to avoid the risk, we could be saving the entire class!" Goldilocks said.

"If we die from this, Goldie, I'm going to kill you!" Red yelled.

"How can you kill me when I'm already dead?" Goldilocks smirked.

But before Red could answer, they reached the camp.

"EVERYONE COME DOWN THIS PATH!" Goldilocks yelled.

But then she realised that she was alone. She heard red squeal behind her and she looked right to find a big, hairy, bloody wolf with grey, dirty hair walking towards her. She gulped to hide her fear and pulled out her sword. The wolf didn't seem very intimidated by it. She pointed her sword at its neck but it kept walking. She could feel its hot breath on her neck. The wolf was almost taller than little Goldie, and the temptation to run was growing by the minute. She didn't know what to do.

"Run away, Goldie! Or kill it! Or...," Red suggested.

"You're not helping, Red," Goldilocks said though her teeth.

She slashed her sword and made a long cut on the wolf's side. It howled in pain but kept walking to her, quicker now. The more it came closer, the quicker it went. Goldilocks had to sprint backwards so they weren't neck to neck. Suddenly, the wolf broke into a run and Goldilocks turned around and sprinted. Then something hit her hard in the face. She opened her eyes and saw that she had run into a tree. The wolf had her cornered.

"GOLDIE!" she heard Red scream.

She could feel herself slowly losing consciousness, and that the wolf was about to leap onto her. With all the strength she had left, she jumped out of the way and managed to see that the wolf had jumped headfirst into the tree. She could hear Red running towards her, then everything went black...

Goldilocks slowly awoke on a pillow of leaves. She looked around her. Everything was blurry and there was a big bump where her head hit the tree. She heard someone coming towards her.

"Goldilocks! Are you okay? Do you feel well? How many fingers am I holding up?" Red questioned.

Goldilocks groaned. "Uh...4?" she mumbled.

"Oh, you poor thing! I was only holding up 2!" Red fussed.

Goldilocks tried to stand up, but Red stopped her.

"Don't try to stand up! Obviously, you are very ill and need ice!" Red insisted

"Don't worry Red, I'm fine!" Goldilocks said. She tried to stand up again but fell back down almost immediately.

"See?" said Red.

Goldilocks groaned. "How long have I been unconscious?" she asked, her hand rubbing her dizzy head.

"About an hour. I've been searching around for a while, and I've found a little visitor." Red giggled, and stepped aside.

Goldilocks had to bite her tongue to stop herself from screaming.

"Goldie! Are you okay?" Jack seemed very concerned about Goldilocks, and ran over to her.

"I-I'm... fine..." Goldilocks stuttered.

"We found the Med Kit that the teacher was using, here!" Red said happily, and handed her a pack of ice. "Ice solves everything!"

They each laughed, and Goldie put the ice on her head. It was cold, but it numbed the pain. She tried standing up again. She was able to push herself up, but she had a bit of trouble walking.

"Goldie, you have to rest!" Jack insisted. But she didn't listen. She forced herself to walk, and it seemed to work. She was regaining her strength quickly.

The silence broke when they heard a rustling noise close by. Goldilocks picked up her sword, and Jack found an axe on the roots of a tree, and Red found a bow and arrows in the bushes. They each took their places around the bushes and trees, ready to strike. The sound became louder and louder until it became so close by, it seemed to be right in front of them, but just invisible. A man in a black cloak suddenly came out of the trees. Goldilocks stepped out of her hiding spot.

"Hey! Who are- "Goldilocks started. But before she could even finish, he vanished into a puff of smoke.
