Our school is not like others.

When the school is having a party they make it really different and this time is a date party on the beach. A date party is like prom but not only to seniors. Its for everyone. You don't have to bring a date you can come alone and to find someone else that didn't have a date and to be each other's date. I'm coming alone, of course but I'm meeting my friends there so it won't be so bad

You probably thinking why I'm going to this if I don't have a date, its because if you don't participate in the school parties, they will call your parents. Yes. They do that. Anyway back to what I said, I was at my room. Trying to not look like an emo geek for the party. My mom called me to hurry up. She was my ride. What? I don't have a car or a drive license. Shut up.

"Finally" my mom said and smiled at me, I smiled back and we drove to the party.

"Okay no drinking. No smoking. No fucking with other dudes got it?" My mom said and looked at me

"No way that the school will have alcohol there so yeah. I don't smoke and there's no way I'm gonna hook up with someone because none of them is gay" I roll my eyes and looked around as we wait to the green light.

~the party~

I got out of the car and my mom waved to me. I waved back and she drove away , leaving me there with those ... People.

I started walking to the beach and I saw a bonfire with some kids around. it one of them had a guitar and he was playing while other dude was just finished singing. I got closer and Justin my best friend notice me "Kellin dude you came! Come here! I saved you a sit" I set down next to him and said hey to my other best friends.

The teachers were a bit far from us. They did their own bonfire but they can still watch us.

"Okay which song next?" Tony, the guy with the guitar said. Someone said "stand by me by Ben E. King". Tony start playing the song and I felt someone sitting next to me. I look to my right and saw Vic.

"Hey" he said and smiled. I blushed and looked away, mumbling "hey" as Jaime , the guy that was singing when I got here started to sing again.

We set there, singing, making jokes, some dance and laughing at Oliver and Josh because they were being extremely gay.

It was 2am. Everyone were waiting for someone to pick them up and the teachers were pissed because they can't leave until every kid is gone but they did anyway. I called my mom but got no answer. Justin already got home and the same goes to Jack and Nick and Gabe.
