It was almost time for their hard work to pay off, they were all tense but were trying their best to appear confident. The quartet had revised how their plan was going to play out numerous times, they were vastly glad that till now everything had gone without error. 

All four of them were anxiously pacing back and forth in the lounge-

"It is all set, the Mehta's are going to show up at 7pm, Arun at 7:15pm, and the police at 7:30pm" announced Ahaan

Kartik: Bhai-itni precise planning- adhe ghante mein saab kuch done- Pura school ka schedule lag raha hai, he said to lighten the mood 

Ishqi: AVM, aapne lounge mein camera fit karwa diya hai na? she asked

Ahaan: Haan, waise Sonu tera idea acha tha.... hum Mehta's ko itna uksaiye ge ke woh sach ugal de aur hum unka confession record karle-

Ishqi continued "Phir Arun marey ga dhamakedaar entry aur Rhea ke hosh udaa dega- Aaj to Mehta's gaiye, she chuckled 

Sonu: Hmm, saab kuch record hoga toh baad mein koi bhi cheez prove karne mein problem nahi hogi, she said smiling proudly

It was already 7:10pm and still there was no sign of the Mehta's, usually Ahaan would be grateful to not see their faces for as long as he could but today was the Malhotra's day, they were going to bust the Mehta's, bring forward their wrong-doings and have them punished accordingly.

Just as Ahaan was about to call Rhea, the 3 awaited people walked in. Rhea had a huge smile on her face which soon faded when she caught sight of Ishqi standing beside Ahaan.

"Yeh yaha per kya kar rahi hai" Rhea hissed

 Ishqi whispered in Ahaan's ear "Good luck AVM, jaiye unko welcome kariye"

Ahaan put up an act and walked towards the Mehta family-

Ahaan: Hello Mr & Mrs. Mehta- please come inside, he said while directing them into the lounge

Viren Mehta: Ahaan, tumne humein yaha per kyun bolaya hai-

Ahaan: Mr. Mehta aapko clearly jaane ki bohot jaldi hai so let me get straight to he point, he responded

He gestured Ishqi to sit beside him- "Rhea- tumhe aur tumhari family ko lagta hai ke tum log bohot smart hona?"

Rhea: Ahaan- tum kehna kya chahate ho? she asked confused

Ahaan: Tumhe laga ke tum mujhe aur Ishqi ko alag karlo gi- yaad hai meine tumse kaha tha ke meri aur Ishqi ki fight hogai hai aur she's not talking to me-naraz hai wo mujhse- Well, turns out ke Ishqi maan gayi hai and she's no longer mad at me-

"Tumhe pata hai Rhea mein kitna lucky feel karta houn ke meri shaadi Ishqi se hogai- she's so understanding- Uss ne meri baat samajhi aur meine aur Ishqi ne saath milke decide kiya hai ke mein iss baache ki responsibility uthane ke liye ready houn per mera tumahrey aur tumari family ke saath koi taluk nahi hoga" he declared while firmly holding Ishqi's hand

Rhea was shocked at the statement she had just heard, she wasn't expecting this-

Kartik took this as a sign for his part in the plan to begin- "Lekin bhai, agar Rhea keh rahi hai ke baccha aapka hai toh aapne manna kaise? Proof ka kya? Rhea tumharey paas koi proof hai ke yeh baache bhai ka hi hai? he said glaring at Rhea

Rhea continued her drama and said "Tum logon ko mein itni giri hui lagti houn ke mein itna barah jhoot bolungi

Sonu: Waise Rhea, Karik ki baat mein point toh hai-

Rhea panicked and her mom noticed and jumped to her rescue-

Radhika Mehta: Tum logon ko meri beti pe itna barah ilzam lagate huay sharam nahi ayi, she said trying to sound offended 

Ishqi: Theek hai, humne maan liya ke yeh baccha AVM ka hai aur woh toh iss ki zimidaari lene ke liye bhi ready hain-Lekin Rhea tum ek baat sunn bhi lo aur samaj bhi lo- Mein aur AVM ek dusre ko nahi choreinge-

Kartik: Aap logon ka main motive bhai aur bhabhi ko alag karna hi tha na- baat Rhea ki pregnancy ki khabhi thi hi nahi- Aur Mr.Mehta pehle aapne Ishqi ko kidanp karwa diya, phir uss pandit se jhoot bolwaya aur jab aapki itni koshishon ke baad bhi Ishqi aur Ahaan ek ho gaye toh aapne mall ki chhat ko girwaya diya bhai ki problems ko bharane ke liye-Aap log kaise parents hai? Instead ke aap apni beti ko right track dekhai aap log ussi ke saath wrong track per chal rahe hai, he said sounding genuinely disgusted 

In a fit of rage Mr. Mehta blurted out everything- "Haan humne hi Ishqi ko kidnap karwaya tha aur tum logon ki dadi ke saath milke pandit se jhoot bhi kehne ko kaha tha, mall ki chhat bhi girwayi aur Rhea ki pregnancy ka ilzam bhi- he stopped mid sentence realizing he'd revealed way too much. 

Rhea tried to divert the situation and said "Ahaan mein tumse bohot pyaar karti houn aur I wanna be with you-

Ishqi: Rhea tum kitni besharam ho- AVM ke shaadi ho gayi hai mere saath aur phir bhi tum kisi aur ka baacha unke sar dal ahi ho? 

Rhea: Ishqi- believe me yeh baacha Ahaan ka hi hai- Almost 3 weeks ho gaye hai- uss din woh bohot nashe mein tha ussne mujhe "Ishqi" bolaya tha aur mein usse rok nahi payi, she said fake crying 

Ishqi: Rhea- mujhe apne pati per poora bharosa hai- aur ek baat batao ke agar jo kuch tum keh rahi ho woh 3 haafte pehle hua toh tum pichle 2 mahino se kaise pregnant ho?

Just as Rhea was about to make up some other lie Arun walked into the Malhotra mansion, all the color from Rhea's face drained as soon as she saw him. 

Arun: Hello Rhea- long time no see, he smirked
