One Direction and I

Chapter 3

This is the third chapter guys!!! Hope you enjoy it!!! Remember, these are short! I'll try to post as many as possible!!!
Jennifer's P.O.V.
Beep!! Beep!! Beep!!! I opened my eyes to see that the beeping was coming from my alarm clock. My clock read 6:00. I slammed my fist on the button out of anger to shut it up. Then that anger morphed into excitement. "Today's my first day at work!!!!" I shouted.
I quickly got dressed in a turquoise cropped-top, a pair of faded cut-off jean shorts, and my black converse sneakers. I put a line of liquid eyeliner all the way around both of my eyes, super volumizing mascara, and sparkly-pink lipgloss. Then I grabbed my small light-blue cross body purse with my phone, money, etc. As you can see, I was ready for the day, and I wanted to look completely fabulous!!! Plus, I'm actually quite skinny... Like, slim-skinny. I have to tell you, there have been so many guys that have had a crush on me in my life that I cannot even count anymore.
I raced down the stairs, grabbed a breakfast bar (granola bar thingy), kissed my mum, and ran out of my home. I ran to claire's since it was only a couple of blocks away from me. And I got there just on time, too. I looked at the time on my phone: 6:28. "Wow." I said to myself.
I stood at the counter where the same woman with the same southern accent was standing, as yesterday.
"Morning, hon! Do you mind if I call you Jen? Or Jenny?" She asked.
"Sure, I don't mind at all." I replied. She told me to take her shift and she went to the back of the store, the warehouse part of the store.
I stood behind the counter watching customers come in, up to the counter to pay, and out. Working a cash register was quite easy, really. I actually took a free class online on how to work them, once. Don't judge me.
I didn't put much effort into noticing the customers or their faces until five customer's faces were extremely hard to miss in the crowd of girls.
