Nihilus feeds on force energy and is strong, but is extremely slow, and doesn't think things all the way through. The only time he can get a speed boost is when he uses Dark Rage, which enhances the physical abilities of a dark side user, but at the cost of their own body. Nihilus also is extremely resistant to any force ability, but cannot deflect a force ability back without using up his own strength. Nihilus can also scream really loudly.
Nihilus uses an aggressive, one-handed, fighting style with his saber, but refuses to use any other weapon. Unless you count the force as a weapon.
