I walked in the cafeteria to see Vihaan already waiting for me. Smiling as I reached him.

"Here," he handed me a small folder with post it notes slightly sticking out at the corners.

"What is it?" I looked up at him.

"Some meterial to help with your part of the project and to help you get familiar with the topic. Go through this and tell me which parts you need help with and we'll go over them together."

I felt like my heart was jumping up and down with joy and I wanted to join it.

"Thank you, Vihaan, you didn't have to go through so much trouble for me." I couldn't help grinning, he mirrored it and I had to avert my eyes to the ground to not flush red at the sight.

"Don't worry about it, we're a team, we should help each other."

"I can't imagine how long this took to put together through, Thank you, Vihaan, really."

He chuckled and took a long sip of his coffee, his eyes crinkling. My heart wanted to dance to the sound of it. I could see Pari standing to the side and glaring daggers at me, I ignored her and left for class the binder held close to my chest after saying bye to Vihaan.

I can't believe Vihaan went through so much trouble to make this for me, just to help me. Damn, this guy does not make it easy to stay focused around him. My heart was doing summersaults when he was near me.

The project was going smoothly for the last two days. I managed to get the hang of it quickly with the help of the notes Vihaan had given me.

"You're fast," Vihaan had commented on my progress on the project this morning, which again sent my heart rate on a rollercoaster. I was almost sure he heard it.

Vimal came out of nowhere and put his arm around my shoulder which I quickly removed.

"Hey, you're good at this, I'm glad you picked it up fast." His smiled, though his expression didn't match his words with the way he was eyeing me and the look he gave Vihaan. I managed a stiff smile.

We finished up almost half of the project and the bell rang.

I got to class only to find that it is.. maths! No! We have a test?! When, nobody told me?! Why didn't I know that? Right, I was busy with the project and I completely forgot I had maths class even. Can't blame the project too much though because I kind of, only kind of, willingly ignored the entire subject too but still. I didn't know there was a test. Run.

Just as I turned to exit the class, Manav caught both my shoulders and pushed me back into the class, making me walk in backwards, no!

"What are you doing? Let me go! I didn't know this period was maths let alone there was a test. Let go!" I struggled to leave but this oaf used all his strength to push me back inside the class. Why?!!

"Manav, please chod dho, mujhe yaha nahi rehna hai," I was getting upset.. and scared.

"Come on, I haven't had the chance to study anything, let me go," I was getting pretty upset and sad, what the hell, I don't want to cry here. Hold it together!

"You'll be fine, Aadhya," he laughed, the audacity! "This test is just for the chapters we studied last week, you'll do fine, trust me."

"Really? How do you know that? You were on the project too."

"I freaked out and wanted make sure," he laughed again. Okay, that dissipated some of my tension but not all of it. Only some, like 10/100. It's maths!
