Mia woke up in a cold sweat. Her cheeks were covered in dried tears and her eyes were red and puffy. It was 5:30. She remembered the dream as clear as a glistening crystal. She got up from her bed and walked to her bathroom, her head still hazy and sleepy. She walked up to the entrance of the bathroom and felt her way to the light switch. She flicked on the switch and walked to the sink. Her dirty blonde hair was in a mess and her face was red. Her big, blue eyes stared at herself in the mirror. Her heart began to race and she felt like breaking the mirror. This happened whenever she went around mirrors. She felt like the person in the mirror would jump out and kill her. The fire in the dream felt so real. She turned on the sink and washed out her face. The dream was still in her head. She can't stop remembering the incident that made her and her sister an orphan. The incident that scared her dear sister. The incident that split them apart made them both go through hell. Things that young girls shouldn't have to go through. The pain, the torture, the fire, the anger, the blood, THE TEARS! But, now they don't have to go through this any more. Now they can renew their life. It wasn't her parents fault, so there isn't anyone to blame but the person who caused the fire. The incident was lost in her and her sisters memories, but now it was haunting her in her dreams. The locket was the only thing that remaind from the fire. It holds her mom and dads pictures. The memory of their dear parents they barley know.

Mia walked to the kitchen, now that she was fully awake and a day off from school, she can talk with her friends more. They already planed to eat out and go to the park. Cleo was going with her friends to some party. She went through her daily morning routine and sliped outside, already telling her sister to check the house and be careful. All of that took at least 25 minutes, so she was pretty early for her meeting with her friends. The park wasn't to far away from her house so she just walked there. After atleast 30 minutes of walking, she made it to the park. Little kids played on the big play ground, but mostly wanted to go on the swings. The birds fluttered around and sang their songs. She walked towards the benches, the one with the table and bunch of kids could sit there, but thats not where she was going. She went to her, their, favorite tree. It was at least 19 feet tall and gave them enough shade and sun light. the purple flowers grew on the tree and made it look like a specail and majestic tree. Some of the petals fell to the ground and fluttered around the tree and where we sat. It was a beautiful tree, away from the annoying kids and teenagers. At the tree was Sophia and her friend, Nicole. She was friends with them to but she was in a different university in a different part of Virginia. When she was little she moved away because of some tragedy that happened at her house. Mia wasn't too clear of it, but it had something to do with them getting kicked out of the house.

Nicole sat at the tree trunk next to Sophia, who was reading a book and explaining the book to Nicole. Mia sat next to them and they turned their head to her and greeted her. She smiled and greeted them back. She was reading a book that involved four kids who had cool a powers. another one was about two guys who were in love but because of society, they were driven away. She didn't like showing people that book though, only her friends. They had a long conversation about the book until Joey and Lance who  showed up. Lance was wearing her typical leather jacket and loose jeans. Her short hair glistened in the sun light and her yellow eyes threatened Mia. Joey was smiling, flashing her white teeth. She wore a sleeveless black shirt with bold white writing that said ' I'M HERE TO ' on the front and on the back read ' FUCK SHIT UP! '. They both greeted the book worms with their livley voices, bringing life into the group. After a long conversation about absolutly nothing important, the rest of the gang came to the tree. Anujin showed up in a red shirt, her favorite shirt, and beache pocket shorts. She smiled and, with excitement, crushed all her friends with a hug full of love. Kendrick, who manage to slip out of the bear hug, was wearing a black and green jacket with loose jeans. He looked like he was awake for the whole night. His eyes were tired and he had bags. He smiled and put his eyes on Nicole. His face changed to a more Anujin exitement face and gave Nicole a hug. Aalia wore an orange turtle neck sweater and black tights. She smiled shyly, her innocent orangey-brown eyes looking at the group of happy , child-like minded adults. She held her right arm and sat down at the tree.
