After the kiss, Josh opened the car door for you and said he has a surprise. After a few minutes of driving, you guys arrived at a park. During the day, the park would be filled with runners, screaming children and dog walkers. But since it was the evening, the park had the late night couples, different vendors, and jazz musicians playing their tunes. There was beautiful lights hanging on everything which made all the colorful flowers and trees look magical. When you stepped out the car, Josh took off his jacket and place it around your shoulders, since it was getting cold, and took your hand guiding you around. The different vendors got the most of your attention especially the ones with food and artworks and many more cool things that you wanted to try. After a few minutes of walking around, Josh took you to this lantern area on the bridge where everyone was releasing lanterns into the sky. As you looked at the view and the beautiful lanterns dancing around in the sky, Josh stared at you in amazement. You soon realized, becoming nervous, you blushed looking at the ground saying that he has been doing that all night and that you don't know why because your not that special. Josh smiled and knew in that moment what he needed to do what he was planning on doing. He took you to a nearby bench on that was on the bridge and made you sit. He nervously took out a little white box that was in his pocket. As he was getting down on his knee, you took in a sharp breath and froze. When he opened the box it revealed a gold ring that had the words " I love you" engraved on it and a little diamond encrusted heart hanging from the bottom. Then he began his speech: " I give you this promise ring. As a promise to you that I will always be here. As your best friend, boyfriend, shoulder to cry on, or personal diary. I promise when your happy that I will make sure you forever have that beautiful smile of yours on your face. I promise that when your sad, I will do everything in my power to help you get through it. From hundreds and hundreds of kisses in the morning to holding you in my arms til you feel better. Even then I will never let you go. You, to me, are the craziest, weirdest, most flawless girl I know. Just for that, I feel truly blessed to call you my baby. We are too young for marriage, but when we are older and you feel the time is right, let me know and I will marry you that day no questions asked. And with that my darling, I promise that no matter what we will make it through whatever struggle comes our way. I give you this ring as a promise. A promise that I will always love you." When he finished and was sliding the ring on your finger, both of you were in tears. You jumped up, knocking him to the railing , and hugged him. Josh switch positions with you, putting you on the railing, cupped your face with one hand and grabbed your waist in the other. Before leaning in to kiss you, you both smiled and looked into each other's eyes. Josh chuckled and leaned in, giving you the most heart melting kiss.
