The day began to turn into evening and the skeletons started to gather together. Killer had received first aid and painkillers for jellyfish stings. Cross arrived alone wondering how he would explain everything that had happened to his boss. Error arrived looking as cool as before, though he was immensely embarrassed by his adventure with Ink. Horror and Dust were not visible anywhere yet. No one had seen them in a long time. On the other side of the beach Dust searches for Horror. He was ashamed of his previous behavior and he wanted to explain the situation to his beloved friend. However, Horror was no longer in the same place as before. Dust looked around until he noticed someone in the changing room. A blue towel hung over the wall, just the kind Cross had given Horror. Dust walked over to the cubicle and leaned against its wall. He had a hard time starting to talk, but eventually encouraged himself.
Dust: "I have something to tell you. Don't answer anything but listen. I'm sorry about that before. I don't usually behave that way, but somehow you get me completely crazy. I was bothered by the whole new feeling I haven't felt before and I didn't know how handle it. Maybe I was afraid to lose you when you hung out with good guys. This is not very easy to say, but I think I have a crush on you. Maybe I love you a little bit. I wish you feel the same way. If you feel it, kiss me. But do it quickly so others don't have time to see it."
Dust felt a wet kiss on his cheekbone. He turned his skull to match the kiss until he noticed the recipient was Blueberry.
Blueberry: "It would be an honor for me to be your boyfriend."
Dust was confused at first, but after that he became angry. He thought Swap Sans was making fun of him. Blueberry thought it best to leave the scene as quickly as possible as Dust picked up the blasters and started to shoot him.
Blueberry: "What is really wrong with you? You just swore eternal love for me and now you already want to kill me."
Meanwhile, Horror and Farm walked against them and marveled at twosome's cat and mouse game. Farm said with a laugh that those two would fit well together when both seem to like childish games. After hearing this, Dust stopped shooting and looked at that manure smelling moron coldly murderously.
Dust: "What the hell did you just say?"
Farm: "I just said you are a good couple."
Dust: "Do you want me to tear your reed hat in half and squeeze it, will I say where?!"
Horror: "Calm down, buddy. Maybe it's better that we leave."
Horror took Dust further away from the good guys. Then he asked him what really bothered him. Dust took a deep breath and said everything had happened before. He gently shared his feelings for Horror.
Horror: "Hmm...You know very well what Nightmare thinks about this."
Dust: "Yeah, stupid, isn't it."
Horror: "But I don't care. Nightmare can keep his own opinion. I'm tired of acting out that we're just coworkers. I would like us to be closer and show affection, no matter what others say."
Dust was amazed at his friend's words. He had thought Horror would be back with his ex because they got along well and had fun together. Horror responded to this thought with a laugh.
Horror: "After a long discussion with Farm, I am now even more certain that breaking up was the best solution."
Horror then gently touched Dust by the cheekbones and kissed him on the forehead. Dust went speechless. They looked at each other deeply in the pupils and were about to start kissing each other until they heard familiar voices. Their friends finally found them. Horror and Dust sighed and went to them. Bad Sanses were ready to go home. However, one was missing. The leader of the crowd was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly lots of bubbles began to rise from the water and after them a black lump appeared on the surface. A wet, exhausted Nightmare stepped onto the shore, with seaweed clinging along his body and tentacles. He couldn't say anything other than that he already wanted to go home. He opened the portal to his castle with his last strength and everyone rushed in, fearing that the portal would close unexpectedly. At Nightmare's home, everyone went to their rooms. A leisurely beach moment had turned into a heavy, adversity-filled day for everyone. But something nice had also happened to all that they were happy with. Everyone except Nightmare.
To be continued...?
