Another day of helpless searching, perky was never truly getting closer to finding natsue, the closest they have ever gotten to finding natsue was newspapers and rumors about random people wandering towns aimlessly.

Of course no one has shown up in the town they were in, they would know, but nonetheless, they needed to find them. Well, they knew they didn't NEED to, but without them, they were afraid of what would happen, what they would do, what they could do.

They had no hope for tubbo, they had watched him die, there was no way he was alive. Natsue though, could be perfectly fine, after all they had just run away, they had never seen them die. Perky's thoughts were interrupted by a scream from outside the home, they rushed to the window to see the woman from before, crouched down on the ground as vultures flew around her and pecked at her.

Perky slipped on a jacket as it was cold, and ran out the door to the woman, people were standing around her but not doing anything, seeing as the birds were so vicious the townspeople didn't want to get hurt.

Despite that perky quickly ran to her, they found a stick and quickly snapped it in half to make it sharper, then stood and swung the stick at the angry sky rats. They pecked at their skin and screamed in their ears, despite all this, perky continued to protect the elderly woman.

Suddenly all the birds stopped and sat at perky's feet, the ushered the woman to go with her husband as they got the birds away, the woman ran off and the vultures calmly sat around perky.

Confused, perky stayed still to not alarm the birds. Suddenly a sort of flowy shadowed figure stood in front of perky. The vultures flew off and naturally, perky stepped back away from the figure, but then the figure reached out towards them and held their hand, interlocking fingers.

Perky then looked down towards the figure and for a split second, saw a familiar face "nat...?" they said quietly, but as soon as they did the figure disappeared into thin air, and perky fell back, tears filling their eyes.

"Where is it....where did i put it.." perky frantically searched through the papers and books they had built up over the years, they had read something once about people moving on, how their souls become something greater, and in this moment, that was their biggest lead yet.

After hours of searching, they found it, an article titles "gods ghosts and all inbetween"

This was all they needed.

"Natsue!" i could hear perky call for me, but i couldn't, i wanted to respond, i wanted to turn around and run back, but i couldn't, the sound of perky's voice eventually died out, and so did the crackling of the house fire, i recognized this area, i remember going on a picnic here with perky and tubbo, i also remember a clif, i had dropped the blanket down the cliff, tubbo had tried to retrieve it since he knew i liked it, but we convinced him against it.

Now i see, the entire time, i was heading straight for the edge of that cliff, after hours of walking, my legs were sore, and tears ran down my face, but i couldn't move to wipe them away, i stopped, them realized i was at the edge of the cliff, the only sounds were the soft chirps of birds and crickets, and the steady wind against my skin

I didn't know what was going to happen, what i would do, until i stepped forward, and closed my eyes

The wind blew through my hair

My eyes tightly shut

And before i knew it

Perky had fallen asleep at their desk once again, they had decided to get some sleep, they didn't know though, that they would sleep for 3 days, all the lack of sleep had caught up to them, though, the strange dream they had just had wasn't of importance now, they needed to focus.

Hours of working, reading, and trying to make sense of what had happened, just then there was a knock at the door, perky considered just ignoring it, but eventually decided to answer it.

"Hello..?" perky answered grouchily, it was the woman and her husband, he stood once again with an annoyed expression, "what the hell are your intentions with my wife?!" he accused,"im so sorry about him i tried to s-" perky shushed the woman.

"Listen sir, i don't have time for you, unlike your lovely wife here, i dont have the patience, so would you please leave..?" perky spoke "i'm not leaving! First you eat our cats, then you're stealing wives? I oughta report to you!!" he scolded. Perky sighed and considered ending the man, "my apologiews ma'am,but i'm afraid you didn't hear me correctly, i dont have fucking time for you, now leave." they said slamming the door shut

They slumped to the floor and cursed that old man

But got up once again and continued researching

They were closer to natsue than they ever imagined they could be.
