Chapter I: Not Just a Song

The Junior dance is coming up, and I'm thinking about asking Harry out. But, I'm a chicken when asking him out! Like, last week I tried to ask him out by saying, "Need help for that Maths test?" And I was gonna give him notes, but they're not notes. It's other notes with a piece of compute paper saying "Will you go out with me?" And all that cheesy jazz.

Instead, he got Brittany (or aka Brittany from Maths) to let him use her notes. I don't even know how he does it! So that was a complete whoop! Anyways, I'm gonna ask Zayn, since he asked out Perrie this morning to the dance. URGH! Okie Doke! I'm gonna late for lunch. Bye!

Jade's POV:

I got my food and arrives at the usual lunch table I always sit at with my friends. My friends are Niall, Louis, Liam, Harry, Zayn, Perrie, Jesy, and Leigh!

"Hey guys!" I greeted, sitting at my usual spot.

"Hey Jade!" They all sung. Weird, it's usually just a monotone hello.

"Um. What did Mr. Clark do to you guys today?" I asked. Mr. Clark was our Music teacher and we all love him. I was sick yesterday, so I was stuck in the nurse's office.

"Nothing. We just wanted to spice things up!" Niall said, playing a few chords on the guitar. Except one sounded awful.

"Niall! That was my guitar! Don't tell me you ruined it!" Perrie complained. "I even tuned it for you!"

"I know Perrie, the guitar is fine. I just accidentally played a note wrong. There's this girl stuck on my mind." Niall said. "And she has a boyfriend. He's the new guy, and- oh I just got an idea!" Niall started to scribble song words down and wow! That's a lot!

"Hey look, Niall's got a song!" Liam yelled.

"No...but it's part of it though." Niall said, dropping his pencil.

"Then why don't you sing it." Leigh suggested. Niall shrugged and went for it.

"But now when I see you with him it tears my world apart." Niall sang.

"Wow! Great job guys! Okay, so next week's performance will be a group again!" Mr. Clark announced and everyone groaned.

"The group will be, Jade, Leigh-Anne, Perrie, and Jesy! Again! For the fourth time!" Mr. Clark announced. Phew, at least I don't have to do it with Cara! She's snobby, mean, and all the negative adjectives I could list! "Class ends early!" He said, leaving the class. Everyone started grabbing their stuff, while I just sat here.

"Jade, what are you doing?" Perrie asked.

"I'm just sitting here." I said.

"Okay, see you later then.." Perrie said, leaving the room. Once everyone is gone, I went to the piano and started playing and singing at the same time.

"I can't lie,

Yeah, you had me at hello.

And it's something you should know, baby." I sang.
