☆ Nisha's POV ☆

I shivered slightly as I tried to find any kind of shelter. Even though I'm still quite warm underneath my thick dark gray fur, It's hard to camouflage myself due to my coloring. Dark gray fur does not hide well when the ground is layed throughout with snow.

- Timeskip -

It's been quite a while and I haven't had any luck. Other pokemon wouldn't take me in and I can't find a comfortable shelter which isn't taken. Plus, My stomach growls at me.

I guess my only option now is to hunt for food before I starve while trying to find a temporary den.

- Another Timeskip -

I spotted a rattata sniffing the ground. I crouched down very close to the ground. I prepared myself to pounce.

I was just about to launch myself to my prey when a icicle impaled it. A Glaceon appeared close behind their attack. They removed the icicle and grabbed the prey by the neck.

I huffed and looked down. I picked myself and started to search for other food. But the Glaceon noticed me apparently.
" Hey, Would you like to have some with me? ", A male voice asked.
I turned around and looked at him.
" Are you sure? ", I quietly asked back.
" Yeah, You look malnourished. Now, Are you coming over to eat or not? ", He answered.
I nodded, padded over to him and started to eat.

After the Glaceon and I pulled away for the prey, all that was left was small pieces of bones. The Glaceon started to dig through the icy ground next to the prey. He continued to dig until there was a small but deep hole in the dirt. He scrapped the leftovers into the hole and covered it up. He also used a ice attack on the spot to mask it in the snow.

Suddenly, I realized how cold it was again and shivered. The Glaceon looked at me with widened eyes. He said nothing and motioned for me to follow him. I obeyed and tried to stay close to him for warmth.

- Timeskip -

He led me to the bottom of a mountain. I eyed him with confusion. He pawed at a certain patch of snow and push it in slightly. There was a sound. A small opening appeared. He motioned to me again and I followed.

It was a small hidden cave. There was a surprisingly well made comfy looking bed, a small stream still flowing in the corner, a fireplace with fresh wood stacked in and near it, and some over supplies in piles.

" You can lay in that bed right there, if you would like. ", The Glaceon suddenly stated. I nodded and got myself comfortable. It was quite soft. I smiled.

I heard a noise to my right. I looked over and it was the Glaceon trying to make a fire. Eventually, Bright orange sparks begin to emerge. Soon, A fire was born. The warmth returned to me once again. This was a nice feeling.

" Hey, Did you make this bed? ", I suddenly asked. The Glaceon's ears perked up and he shook his head no. " No, I actually got it from a old friend of mine. He is with his human though. He helps make things like these with his human. He gave me that as a gift before he started to travel. Him and his human are quite popular I was told. Lots of places asked for their work. Because of this, he had to leave. He said he might come back one day. I hope I get to see him again ", He sadly stated.

" Hey, I've never got your name. And since I'm gonna be taking care of you for at least tonight, you might as well tell me ", He teased changing the subject.
" Oh, My name is Nisha ", I responded. " And you? "
" My name is Boris ", He stated.

We both fell into silence excluding the crackle of the fire and the small roar of the stream. Boris yawned widely, temporarily showing his fangs. He stretched and padded over to me.
" Come on, Move over ", He chuckled. I giggled at him and made room for him.

He settled down after a while. Soon the silence fell over us again but, it wasn't awkward. It was actually quite peaceful. The warmth of Boris and the fire helped calm my senses. The quiet roar of the steam and the soft rage of the fire also helped.

I allowed my body to go limp. All the tension drifting away. I breathed with pure bliss. And I allowed myself to be at peace.
