In a long-forgotten tomb by the edge of the graveyard, something unnatural was happening. Cursed energy was moving around old bones, calling every single atom that had once belonged to the body back to its place.

Ever so slowly, the bones began to be covered by layers of flesh. Blood vessels began to form and the organs shifted to their places. As the body was completely restored, the soul was pulled out of the afterlife and pushed inside of it. The first heartbeat after centuries took place.

Thump, thump, thump...

The woman woke to life again as her (e/c) eyes opened wide and the air was desperately pushed inside her lungs. The oxygen stung her chest but she continued to take some deep inhales as if she had just emerged from underwater, where she had been deprived of the precious air for too long.

As it became easier to breathe, the woman didn't calm down as one would think, because she was trapped. She was laying in complete darkness, in a small space.

Her hands pushed instinctively up against the damp surface. With some cracking sounds, the rotten wood began to give in, letting some light enter.

Before she could get out of the coffin, she needed to rest. (Y/N) began to evaluate her condition. She was completely drained from cursed energy, her body feeling weaker than ever before.

'How did I end up here?'

She was confused, somehow she couldn't quite remember what had happened to her. But as she tried to recall her memories, the last moments of her life came to mind.

'No, they died. They are all dead now.'

Tears filled her eyes, overflowing them and rolling down her face. She let her emotions run freely for a while because she knew that she needed to push them aside...

'Sukuna. I will come for you again.'

Her thirst for vengeance made her move. Carefully, she stepped outside her coffin. She was in a mausoleum surrounded by other coffins. The names on the inscription were unrecognizable, making it impossible to know who was resting there. She presumed that one of them was her late husband.

"Katsu." She tried her voice, but her throat was too scratchy to say anything more.

'Oh, Katsu. I'm so sorry for betraying you. I hope you can forgive me.'

Her hands glided over her abdomen feeling the intact skin. There was no sign of the wound that Sukuna had inflicted on her.

'Van, I'm sorry that I wasn't strong enough to keep our child.'

Tears began to threaten to spill again, so (Y/N) began to search for a way out of the small building. She made it outside and found herself in a graveyard. The sky was still dark, but on the horizon, the sun was announcing its presence. Tall buildings could be seen in the distance, making (Y/N) stare in awe as hundreds of lights flickered, the view reminding her of the light festival with its lanterns.

A cold breeze graced her naked skin and brought her back to her current situation. This graveyard didn't look like the one from the Zenin estate. So where was she?

She didn't have time to think, because two men in black uniforms showed up. The woman was well aware of her nudity, but there was no way she could hide it, so she stood tall to show no fear and waited for the men to speak.

They were clearly confused about her. They didn't know if they should stare at her or look away. The one with the samurai sword eventually spoke while looking at her feet.

"Who are you, and what business do you have here in jujutsu tech?"

'Jujutsu tech?'

"I don't know how I ended up here." She said in a scratchy voice.
