Karthik. Karthik Subramaniam. The golden boy of our college. He never cared about girls, was always the first ranker and very cute too. He was my cousin-Sayyed's best friend.
I had to accept the fact that somewhere deep below I had a crush on him. But not now. There was a bad rumour about him. Though I am not the one to believe in rumours but this was very much believable.
The way he carried himself around, his boyish charms, his cute smile everything attracted me. But I can't fall for him. Nope. Anyone but this idiot.
So I decided. I will behave very cold to him. Almost roast him for everything he says. Yes that is the only way not to fall in love with him.
"Karthik, this is my cousin Ayesha. Ayesha, this is my best friend Karthik."
"Glad to meet you." he said with a smile.

I must have done something because she blared up like that. But the worst part was she had called me a slime face. I can still hear my own heart's sound of breaking.
I have fallen for her and I will do something so that I make her feel the same feelings I have for her.
It is decided. Mission Majnu (hopeless romantic) will be implemented.
