Your next target is Mercury Black, you saw the drawing of him on the map to circle around the drawing of Mercury with your pencil, knowing that he is your next target to take down in order to make Salem weak so that she doesn't have anymore fighters on her side. You don't know where Mercury would be at, so you went to the Duke to find out where he could be anywhere in the village or anywhere. You then started to talk to the Duke in order to find out where Mercury could be.
You: Duke.
Duke: Ah, yes. You wanted to know where Mister Black could be, right?
You: You guessed it.
Duke: The last time I heard Mister Black seems to have been somewhere in the village. But be on your guard. I fear that he is hunting you down, he knows that you have killed Mister Watts. Please, proceed with caution.
You: Thanks for the heads up.
Duke: Please, do be careful.
You then exited the altar to go through the gate and head on back to the village to go hunt down Mercury, or he will hunt you down first. You don't care if you're being hunted down, you'll be the one who will take down Mercury first. You got out your handgun to be ready for a fight just in case if Mercury gets the jump on you out of nowhere. You still have your left hand bandaged up from the fight you did with Watts back in the castle where you killed him, except he turned into a monster, but you still killed him. You kept your guard up to walk around the abandoned and quiet village to check your surroundings to make sure you don't get jumped on by Grimm or Mercury if he ever finds you. You then started to search around the village to find any useful items for your fight against Mercury. You then heard something to your left that someone aimed a shotgun at you.
Stranger: Don't move!
You then holster your handgun and put your hands up to do what the stranger says.
You: Hey, take it easy. I'm just passing through.
Stranger: Like hell you are. You are going to turn around, and walk back where you came from!
You then looked to see a little girl behind the stranger, you assumed that's his daughter. She wasn't feeling good.
You: I think your daughter needs help, sir.
Stranger: (pumps shotgun) Don't tell me how to deal with my daughter!
Emerald: Drop it!
You then saw Emerald aiming her guns at the stranger for you to quickly equip your handgun aimed at the stranger as well. It's two against one now. Emerald was aiming her guns at the stranger's daughter.
Stranger: No! Wait!
Emerald: Step aside. We need to terminate her before she turns.
Stranger: "Terminate"? That's my fucking daughter!
You then looked at Emerald to defuse her.
You: Emerald... Just let them be.
Emerald then looked at you and put away her guns and you did the same to put away your handgun.
Stranger: (to his daughter) Hannah, sweetheart, I told you to stay put...
Hannah: Papa...?
The stranger then went to his daughter and lower his shotgun to kneel down to hug his daughter.
Stranger: Yeah, Hannah. Papa's here. I'm here, okay?
You saw how this man and his daughter were living like this ever sense the village got attacked by the Grimm. You think about Sherry being like this, you wouldn't let anything happen to her. The Stranger then started to speak.
