“What happened last night do you have anything.” I tried to play victim, maybe they have nothing. I could get away with this.
“We found Jess Henderson outside your apartment window, dead on the ground last night.”
“What I wasn’t even home last night I was out on the town. I was just walking around, I never even went home. I slept at my mom's, but nobody was there.” I was walking around but after I killed her. But I wasn’t with anyone, so they can’t ask anyone questions.
“We found James at his house, stabbed, in the chest.”
“What?!”
“Yes, he was dead when we found him.”
“Oh god. Do you have anything? Are you going to find who did this?”
“Well, we have a pretty big lead. You, your prints were on the knife. We think you killed him. Jess went to your apartment to confront you and you pushed her out of the window.”
“What he was my best friend, it was probably a knife I used to cut up fruit or something. And Jess, I wasn’t home, I was out walking.”
“Ok, did anyone go with you? An alibi.”
“No I was alone, I didn’t want to bother anyone.”
“Then why was she there? How did she get out the window?”
“Well James has a key, she probably used it.”
“She had nothing on her.”
“Oh, no, I left it unlocked I do that a lot.”
“It was locked when we got there.”
“Was it burglarized? They could have found her there, pushed her out the window, and heard the sirens so they bounced out, locking the door on their way out.”
“Ok, maybe. That is all for now, Mr. Take. We may have more questions sometime later. Wow, that could have been worse.
